i am thinking to go to the US during the summer snd work
illegaly on the east cost. A few yesr ago i was in a place
called wildwood, just south of atlantic city, and illegel
employment was very easy to find. However, i have heard that
the situation has changed, as they have realy clamped down
on it. Can anybody varify this, as i dont want to land up
there with absolutely no prospects of getting a job.

If you can't get work in Wildwood you can roll chairs on the
    Atlantic City boardwalk.

First off, if you want any success, don't ask around about
"illegal work". Just ask if anyone is hiring "under the
table" - no tax forms to fill out or anything, don't need a
social security number (but, no matter what you call it,
    it's not legal).
Lots of seasonal places and small businesses will hire this
way. Just make friends fast once you get here, and ask
around - obviously it is not advertised, word-of-mouth
only. You shouldn't really have a problem. Good luck!

advertises work available on the hostel.com board. You
might want to contact them and see if they can assist.
