A BOAT FROM DUBAI

hello
can anyone tell me if there are boats from dubai, or the u.a.e. to iran or india and if so how much are they, how frequent etc,

   Dunk - There is a boat that goes from Sharjah (just out of
   Dubai) to Iran. It costs around $70 AUD one way for first
   class, $55 AUD third class, second class somewhere in
   between. It takes around 12 hours, but Im not sure how
   often it goes; I am in the process of checking that out, so
   if you are still keen for some more info, email me and once
   I find out, I can let you know.
   If you need to organise a visa for the UAE they currently
   wont let Australians do that unless you fly in/out.

   you can get a visa for the UAe , there is an embassy
   in the Canberra.
   You need a sponsored visa either by paying a hotel for
   the sponorship, or by knowing someone who is living
   and working there who is willing to vouch that you will
   leave the country.
