India-Nepal-India border crossings

I'm off to India/Nepal.
Hoping to go from calcutta- darjeeling then into Nepal from
East. Can anyone give me info on crossings/ recommendations
here. Is it possible?
Also, I plan to leave Nepal from the West into India
--similar info required here.
