Lebanese Visa

Hi, I am planning on visiting Baalbek from Damascus. Can a
USA national get a Lebanese visa at the border with Syria?
Or do I need to get the visa before I leave the USA? Can
anyone tell me how much time it takes to get the visa at
the border?
Thanks!

Several Americans have posted here saying that you CAN get a
Lebanese visa at the border with Syria.

I travelled thru that region last summer and found out you
can NOT get a Lebanese visa at the Syrian-Lebanese border.
Fortunately I received my Syrian visa beforehand from
their embassy in Washington, DC. Please note there are no
Lebanese consulates/embassy in Syria itself. You also can
not get a Syrian visa at any of its borders with neighboring
countries. Please get your visas ahead of time.

    He's completely incoherent.
US citizens can get lebanese visas at the border. (They
cannot get Syrian visas at the border going the other way.)
