Am first year Arabic student at the School of Oriental and
African Studies in London, Great Britain. Looking to improve
my Arabic this summer preferably in August/September.
Anyone know of any reliable, cheapish, good courses in the
Middle East? Most particularly in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Syria
and Jordan.
Thanks in advance for any help on this topic, John.

Check out the page for Sinarc '99--I was there in 98 and
I'll be there this summer, too. It's very good. It might be
getting a bit late to apply, though.

What did you think?

Dear Friend,
I am a student in Jordan. You can get Arabic courses easly
in one of the univercities here. Tere are three you can
apply for them: Yarmouk Uni, Univercity Of Jordan and Al Al-
Bait Uni.There is a language cintre in every univercity.
The life is cheep as well the studying fees and the people
are great here. You are wellcome to contact me if you
needed any help.
Tamam,
I have just e-mailed you, but if you don't get that
then here are some questions:
How much exactly do the courses cost? Can I come only
in August and half of September? Don't forget I would like
to study Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and not colloquial.
Thanks, John.
