We have a 7 year-old, active boy. He enjoys adventures. We
hope to use Estramadura as a base for looking about Portugal
. Any suggestions for reasonable cost accomodation for up to
4 weeks,mid-July to mid-August,will be gratefully accepted.
We have searched the Web (though not especially
thoroughly ) and of course looked at our Lonely Planet
Guide. The Web sites post rather expensive 'Manor-House'
residences quoted in English currency. Local contacts
probably will be better. Any suggestions?
Also, can anyone suggest activities that would give our boy
the chance to meet with other children. We have no
Portuguese at present, but from other experiences elsewhere
do not feel that that will be a major problem. Thanks,
