exactly might be the best places for us. also anything else
we need to know. we will be 'budget' travellers.

Go to Phi Phi Island in Thailand. Me ,my husband and two
active boys, 15 months and 3 1/2 years old, had a wonderful
month there january last year. daddy had paperworks to do so
we decided he could do that in Thailand in a bungalow a few
hours per day while I was on the beach with the children.
There are no cars, safe for children, friendly and nice. We
are going back in february next year, Daddy has more
    paperwok to be done......

in December/January the weather will be much better in
Thailand and I suppose you don┤t want to have rain every
    afternoon or evening!

  3. Bali worked for us. Added by: Korreen

We have gone to Bali twice with our boys (first time 6 mo
and almost 3 yrs, and second time a year later) We stayed
exclusively in Ubud. (We were studying) Now, it may very
well be the Disneyland of Asia, but with little children we
found that to be okay. The streets were smooth enough for a
stroller, which was a god-send in the heat, and people were
very kind to the kids. We stayed in little homestays, family
run. These were easy to find, cheap, and usually people had
their own kids so it was much more interesting, and no one
got stressed at our early morning racket. My little one was
still breast feeding so there were no worries for him with
food. ACtually the only problem the boys had was with pink
eye. If you are artsy at all, Go Ubud.

I'm off to bali on Saturday the 1st may. Has anyone hired a car in Bali and managed to get a baby seat? Shall we tke one or are they cheap enough to buy one when we are there. We want to hire a car and drive around but witha 10month old it will be difficult w/out a car seat
