Walking with baby Tarn

Hi, we are keen Fell walkers from the UK, we have many
years experience of high level walking, especially in
Scotland. We have a six month baby called Tarn, and we've
started taking Tarn on short walks in our Macpac baby
carrier, but want to start striding out on 6-8 hour high
level walks. We are looking for advice from fellow walkers
and parents to make sure we don't put Tarn (or ourselves)
under unnecessary risk (we are holidaying in Chamonix in
July). Any help or advice would be greatly received,
Thanks Andrew, Julia & Tarn
