Am going to Bali with my wife and 4 yr old daughter-
staying in Sanur Beach.
Any helpful tips- what to do/where to go/not to go/ child
specific tips- we'd like to go to Ubud- any problems with
this or pitfalls we should know of.
Anything at all- we'd be grateful to hear and will file a
full report for all future visitors when we return
Thanks in advance !!

As an appendix to my above posting, can anyone add anything
on vaccinations etc for the trip to Bali ?
Also, has anyone stayed at the transit hotel at Kuala
    Lumpur airport ??
    Reports welcomed...
    Thanks

Lovina Beach. You go out on the water early in the morning
to see the dolphins. Usually there are a handfull of boats
but it is still fun. I stayed at the transit hotel back in
Jan of 96. Cockroaches in the bathroom and room but we left
a light on and they didn't bother us. It was good otherwise
and we had a voucher for the buffet which was not bad
    especially after airline food!

Avoid the SANUR Beach Resort - the staff would have to be
the rudest we have encountered after several trips to Bali,
the wake up call (important as for connecting flight) didn't
happen, the airline voucher for a free meal was disputed for
about 1 hour in the hotel lobby - just because we were a
family with children they disputed us being able to all
eat!! Basically they just ripped us off. The rooms were
very musty and mouldy - more like lichen - was growing in
the bathroom, the water bottles (complimentary) were already
opened and the water in the shower was brown. The rats were
larger than the cats. NOT GOING BACK THERE!!
