I did volunteer "bumping" over the holidays and now have enough vouchers to go to Europe. Our son is 5 1/2 and in kindergarten. Any suggestions on ways to do this inexpensively, resources and ideas of where to go where American Airlines flies?
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know where you live, but a word of warning. England
has become very very expensive, and France, Italy and
Germany aren't much better. PLUS, the weather in Northern
Europe at this time of year is pretty awful, meaning you'll
spend a lot of time inside.
I live in Paris (American flies here), and the weather has
been pretty bad. I would suggest you either head for Greece,
which is cheaper than most of Europe and enjoys mild weather
even in Jan, Feb, March; or put off your trip until Spring.
Most European cities have nice parks that will amuse a 5
year old, but if it's raw and rainy that won't help.
Gosh, I must be mad, I'm planning on taking my 4 boys (aged
11, 9,7 &5) on the grand tour of Europe for 2 months in
August - September! I am also after cheap accommondation
and want to get off the beaten track to really experience
the culture. Currently I am planning the itinerary and will
probably start in Rome (after a trip to Greece) and travel
by train into France and Germany.
Any suggestions?
exchange your home. lots of places on the internet, just
look under home exchange. Also exchange your car. Very very
cheap and a better experience. Also don't eat out and lots
of picnics.
