Where are the night spots in Mumbai?

When my group arrives in Mumbai with 24 hrs. worth of
jetlag, we want to make it worse! Where should we go
dancing?

I think there's supposed to be a good disco in the Taj hotel
in Colaba, but it's probably very expensive. Anyway, with
jetlag, and the entire experience of being in India, you'll
probably be way too tired to go dancing!! If you're looking
for fun, Indian style, check out Chowpatty beach at night.

    Angie and group,
For a searcheable list of night-spots in Mumbai,
    try the mid-day website.
or, for a shorter list, with an emphasis on food types,
try awaaz, the webzine for Mumbai.
    the URLs are:
    www.mid-day.com/entertainment/publist.asp
    www.awaaz.net/restaurents/default.asp

The mid-day website that Just-browse mentions is pretty
    comprehensive but ...
Some personal favourites (all the deatils are listed on mid-
day) - and a possible pub crawl? -
Start at Geoffrey's on Marine Drive (an "English pub"); then
CopaCabana (very friendly - small bar); next a beer or two at
The Ghetto (ditto); and off to the Fashion Bistro (quite lively).
"Three flights up" has been revamped - does anyone know if
the new look is any good?

  5. TFU Added by: BH

The new TFU is pretty much the same, but they have added
four pool tables. There is also a "cover charge" but you
get it back in coupons for the bar. 1900s is supposed to
be open until mid-June. Fashion Bistro is too crowded and
loud to dance or have a conversation. HQ is great, again
    if it not completely overcrowded.
