Accommodation in Bombay

Does any one know of a cheapish (clean) hostel that we can
stay at in Bombay. Our flight gets in at 8pmish and we
would like to direct the taxi driver to a good place
relatively central. Any tips you can provide on places to
vist would be appreciated.

   This topic's starting to get a bit boring, but anyway. Check
   out the Salvation Army hostel in Colaba. NOT the dorms, as
   they're noisy, and not too clean. I think the double rooms
   are quite ok though. They're very cheap, though accomodation
   is comparatively expensive in Mumbai compared to many other
   Indian cities. A good breakfast is included in the price.

   Yep I agree with Char - but when I was there I thought the
   dorms were fine.

   Try Foras Rd and Grant Road
   The brothels there offer cheap accomodation.
