CHEAP COOKING SCHOOLS

I am a serious cooking buff, about to get my BA in
anthropology of food and wish to get my hands on the real
thing not just theory. Does anyone know where in
Mediterranean Europe (especialy Spain, Italy and France) I
could find a bugdet rate cooking school.I've only found
these luxury ones that are aimed at middle aged wealthy
american tourists and I definitely don't qualify for those.
Please let me know.
