Just another Millennium question...
I'd like to spend this night in a quiet place in the far
north of Europe. With a look on a map, that means Iceland,
Norge, Sweden or Finland.

Which one of them, why and where?

Thank you very much for answering

In Oslo they are spending 6 million pounds on fireworks and
a massive street party.
In Bergen they are also spending a couple of million pounds
on fireworks and they are also have some other joint
celebration too, some historical thing
I'd be interested to know what else you can find out.
Mail me if u want
Thank you.
But I said: quiet place.
in iceland they always celebrate new year big, with amazing
fireworks in Reykjavik. however, if u find somewhere
isolated to go (remember its gonna be cold and dark...) i
think it would be incredible. the island in places looks
as if it couldn't be part of this planet - vast plains and
mountains, you lose all sense of scale and perspective.
its truly a beautiful and unpredicatable country, give it a
go... =) j
I suggest you go to the north of Sweden. At that time of
year it'll be cold, dark and lots of snow. It's very
beautiful up in the mountains and perhaps you could rent a
cabin, go hiking, skiing or something like that. I think
there's even an ice-hotel, sort of like an igloo, but I'm
not sure where it is, maybe Kiruna or Arjeplog.
You could also go to RiksgrĪ£nsen, that's where the three
countries' (Norway, Sweden and Finland) borders meet up in
the north.
Well, the far north of Europe........The North Cape is as far north as you can go. Why don't you try it. By the way The North Cape is in Norway.
