We are cycling round the top end of Europe.
Netherlands - Germany - Poland --- Finland ---- Sweden -
Denmark.
Anyone know where to get reasonalbe quality/price cycle
touring maps for these countries. Either in London
(preferrably) or in the countries themselves??
Much appreciated, Paul

If you are in London then you must visit Stanford's. It has
maps for just about everywhere and is the best place in the
UK.
Address: 12-14 Long Acre WC2 (Leicester Sq or Covent garden
tube stations will get you close)

If you come to Sweden you should go and visit the
touristoffices in the citys you come to. There you┤ll
probably get maps on bicycleroutes for free. If not they
ought to know where you can buy cheap ones. Another place to
get them is in most bookstores but why waste alot of money
on something you can get for free?
In Germany you can get good maps in almost evry bookstore.
For more information try the German Bicycle Association

visit "Dansk Cyklistforbund" - The Danish Cyclist Federation. They have maps for most of Europe as well. Their offices are very close to the center of Copenhagen. Their homepage: http://www.dcf.dk/ - some of it with English text as well, as well as links to other countries cyclists' organisations. Denmark is a very good country for cyclists with lots of cycle paths in the bigger cities as well as specially made paths all over the country. You should also be aware of what is called: "Marguerit-ruter" which basically is smaller roads all over the country - both for cars and cycles - but leading through the more scenic areas of Denmark.
Need more info on Denmark let me know here and I'll try and help you.
