"Edge of The World"

hi!!! i would like to know is it Scotland got a place call
"Edge of The World" ? as i know is an island somewhere in
Scotland , the name start with "St. ???da" . can anyone tell
me what the place name ,where and how to get there?

    I think that the 'Edge..' comes from a book title.
    I've read a couple of books about the place a few years ago.
    Very interesting if somewhat sad history. Was the most
    remote inhabited part of the UK for ~300 years until 1929
    when the whole population was evaculated.
    It's very difficult to get to. Only a few military types
    live there and it's only possible to visit as a tourist via
    a very expensive sailing trip.
    Another possibility is with a working party of the National
    Trust of Scotland - if they still run them.

    When your in Scotland you might want to enquire with Oban
    tourist board. This small port town on the west coast is
    one of the main departure points for trips to St Kilda
