has anyone travelled from Palermo to Lipari island by
hydrofoil. Do you have the approximate arrival/destination
times? how long does the trip take? do you know of any
reasonable hotels on Lipari Island?

Good evening, Bruce Had a little time on my hands this
afternoon in order to surf into ferry service from Palermo
to Lipari. The only thing I would was on
Siremar,gestelnet.it/ which stated that Lipari can only
be reached from Milazzo, Messina or Naples.
The trip from Malazzo to Lipari is three hours.
The trip from Naples to Lipari is 4-3/4 hours, however it
was stated that it was a ruf trip on hydrofoil. For
reasonable hotels would check www.hotelguide.ch or
www.venere.it/ usally will cover the full range of hotels
so you can find what you want. www.comune.lipari.me.it/.
