Please, can someone be so kind to let me know whether there
will be a Tibetan Freedom Concert in Amsterdam in June or
July ? I've heard the rumor but know nothing about it nor
have I found any infos on the Internet.
Thank you. Anne

  1. Concert is 6/12-6/13 Added by: Chris

I don't mean to lecture, but you don't seem to know how to
use the internet and a search engine very well at all if
you can't find information like this. You should learn how
to do that because you're not getting a fraction of the use
out of it (the WWW) that you could. All I did was type in
"tibetan freedom concert" +amsterdam into the Altavista
search engine and within a couple seconds got dozens of
pages on it, with the main sites with press releases, their
WEB site itself, etc. at the top. Also, all you have to do
is go to the Milarepa Fund's WEB site (milarepa.org), which
is the organization who does these concerts, and there is
complete information on it. (You could have found their WEB
site within seconds in a search engine, also.) The concert
is 6/12-6/13 and tickets went on sale May 8th in
Amsterdam. The Milarepa's WEB site gives you a link to the
    place selling tickets, I think.

    Chris,
Now was that a nice way of putting it????

  3. thanks to both of you Added by: anne

Thank you, Chris, for the very good information.
I'll try and become friendly with Altavista Search Machine
and Co. some time. My problem is, that up to now I have
sufficiently survived on the low-tech bits and pieces of
information I got through human communication. But what is
a man compared to a search machine ? Anyway, you helped me
along quite a lot, thanks for that.
Thank you, too, 'Me', for the ironic little remark. It made
    me smile !
    Anne
