I am thinking of ariving in the UK around Dec/Jan 2000 and trying to find a job in Scotland somewhere. I have a UK passport, though I am Australian. I want to try and stay away from service jobs as the money isn't so good and I have skills in office type work. Anyone with any experience in finding jobs in Scotland (Cities or otherwise) who could suggest
-the best place to work/live
-the best time of year (not that I have much choice)
-type of jobs available
-cost of living, and pay I can expect
Any help in this would be greatly appreciate
