I am in serious need of someone to help me write a short
letter in French. I received a letter from a young student
from Chad. I get the main idea of the letter. However, my
French writing skills are lacking. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Try http://babelfish.altavista.com/cgi-bin/translate which will give a reasonable translation, can give a bit of a problem if you cant type in graves, acutes etc it also gives some hilarious versions .

I can help you. But the problem with my (old) email system
is that I have no acute, graves and so on.
Je peus vous aider, mais le problEme de mon vieux mail et
de mon clavier est que je n'ai pas d'accents graves, aigus
et tout Ca. Les lettres A corriger sont en majuscules.
