Can someone tell me the difference between VCRs in the US
and in Europe? I want to take a video tape of a business
proposal from the US to Greece. Will it work or is there
some kind of addaptor I will need? Please only e-mail me
about it. thank you

In Europe, we have the PAL system, in USA you have a
different system (NTSC?). This has to do with the number of
lines on the television. You will have to check with your
connection in Greece to see if they have a dual-system
player. Another option is to bring a player with you. If you
can get it transferred to a small casette, you could just
bring a video-camera that you can put the casette in - I
think you can then plug it into a PAL television and get a
    good picture.

You need look in the phone book and find someone who can
make a PAL copy for you. (you might want to double check
which system they use in Greece just to be sure). The
camera option mentioned above won't work because video
cameras also come in different flavors (ntsc/pal/secam) and
    the video signal won't synch.
Look in the yellow pages for video businesses. Sometimes
they mention this service in their advertisements.
