Pompei

We'll be driving from Rome to Pompei. Want to then head
north to Venice. Is there anywhere worth staying at between
pompeii and Rome for 1 night? Tks

   Good afternoon, Julie
   If I may suggest when you arrive in Pompeii find a hotel
   that is suitable to your needs before going to the ruins,
   then after a good day within Pompeii, you will only have
   to go to the hotel and relax until the morning when you
   drive to Venice. If the hotel does not have a ristorante
   there are a lot of small but good ones there.

   but when i drove a motorbike back from the middle east to
   UK half a lifetime ago i stayed in cassino and "did" the
   cathedral on the monte.
