CUSTOMS!!!

I am bringing a laptop and a camcorder with me to eastern
and western
europe. Is there any problems trying to do this in eastern
europe. I heard rumors about import tariffs and the
such...will this be a problem?..PLEASE HELP!!!
Should I bring my receipts incase they try to take them
from me...

    depending on which countries you will be visiting. I take it
    you aren't bringing them in for commercial purposes or
    carnet rules may apply. Take your receipts or you may be
    subject to duty on return (unelss they are obviously used).
    And, oh by the way, if you don't bring them both out of
    the European countries, you may be subjected to intense
    questioning and possible penalties. And "they were stolen"
    won't get it. It's been used too many times.
    Sorry for the vagueness but that's the best I can do. So
    much depends on the situation, how close the checks, the
    inspectors, etc. when you go thru the formalities of
    entering/departing countries. Good luck.
