Nice is great for a day ,but you must not pass the Cinque
    Terre,Italy.

Cinque Terre is five little towns you can hike between just
south of Genoa on the Italian Riviera. GO!

  3. Nice is not that nice Added by: bec

I thought Nice was pretty seedy...I wouldn't bother
stopping there - do like the above poster recommended and
see the Cinque Terra - now that's a place definitely worth
    visiting!

  4. Try Cap D'Ail Added by: STEWART

    Hi Chica,
Sorry if this sounds a bit like an advertisment - but I've
now spent over a week in 23 countries around the world.
The hostel with one of the best locations in Europe is "The
Relais International De La Jeunesse" in a town called Cap
D'Ail. This is the first stop after Monte Carlo travelling
to Nice. (By train 5mins from Monte Carlo, 15mins from Nice
    - the hostel is about 300 meters from the station in Cap
    d'Ail).
It's a beautiful old mansion in millionaires row and its
right on the ocean. (Yes I'm serious, I couldn't believe
it when I saw it either).
It's an ideal place to chill out because they have a
midnight curfew. This is one of the reasons a lot of
people don't (want to) know about it.
I've found it a great place to recharge the batteries in
    the past.
The only other draw back with the place is that it's a non-
profit organisation so the management can be a bit
    chaotic.
Hope you enjoy your stay there. If you do tell them
    Stewart, (from Australia), sent you.
