Thanks to everyone for the tips on Helsinki! No sooner back
from there, we are planning a drive from Oslo to Overijse
near Brussels. Main questions are as follow:

1. How long does it take to drive from the Danish border to
Overijse?

2. Is there a "scenic" route that would be more interesting
to drive? How long does that take?

3. What's to see in and near Overijse? Any good diving?

4. This is "just" a weekend trip (4 days) - what if we took
and extra day? Any good places to drive to/through if we
have the extra time on our way home to Norway via
Germany, Denmark and Sweden?

4 days to go from Oslo to belgium and back, sounds like
    madness to me.
Anyway, there's not that much to see in Overijse. If you
like walking, horseriding and mountain biking, you can do
that in the beautiful Zonienwoud. Otherwise the region is
known as a production area of Belgian grapes. I would go
for a trip to Brussels or Louvain.

What we want to see in Overijse is our friends that live
there, first and foremost. We will leave Oslo on Thursday
afternoon - drive to southern Denmark that night - drive to
Overijse the day after (Friday) - stay there til Monday and
arrive back in Oslo Tuesday afternoon/evening. "Just" a
weekend trip, really - and it is absolutely possible with
the road conditions this time of year.

Zonienwoud sounds interesting. If we can ride bikes there, I
bet we can just go for a nice walk too :-)
