Hey all you music lovers out there. I looked at the line up
for the Rosklide festival and got very, very excited,
especially because one of my favorite bands, LAMB, will be
there. I need to know if there are any tickets left and if
there are how much they are (any currency is fine - I can
convert!!!) and how I would go about getting one. Where do
people stay when they go to Roskilde - is accomidation hard
to come by? Also, while I am at is, does anyone know if
Portishead are playing anywhere in Europe this year?
Cheers

  1. Info about Roskilde Added by: Mona (monae@nfh.uit.no)
[Timestamp: Tue 25 May, 18:26 Tasmanian Standard Time]

You can get all the information you need about Roskilde from
    their own web-site: www.roskilde-festival.dk/
It is most fun to bring a tent and a sleepingbag, and stay
at the festival area. To get a campsite close to the
concert area, you must be there at least wed June 31st. I
reccomend the area west (Windmill) of the concert area.
I wish I could go there this year too - but can't! I
know you will have lot's of fun! Promise!!!

  2. Price Added by: Bjoern
[Timestamp: Tue 25 May, 22:13 Tasmanian Standard Time]

And the price is 800 Dkr (115USD) + fee.
If there is a ticket agent in your country then he
determines the fee - if not you can use the Danish Ticket
office - if preordered: Fee 200 Dkr (30 USD) for the first
ticket 1.5 USD for the rest.
99% of non-locals stay in a tent in the mud.
There are still tickets, even if the number of tickets
has been reduced - in order to try to end up with a sold out
festival. As you probably all know, the number of
participants of the festivals are declining very fast these
    years.
