I'm thinking about going to Turkey after Greece but don't
really know anything about it. What do you think? Also If
there is a cheep way to get to Israel and Jordan? Thanks.

Turkey is great. It's cheap, too. There's a lot more to it
than Istanbul, though. Get a guidebook, so you know what
you want to see, and go for it.

We spend a week in Istanbul--fantastic, history, culture,
the ferry boat cruise on the Bosphorus, walk the seawalls,
visit the Aya Sofya, have hot apple tea in the Yerebatan
Saray, wander the streets on the Asian side, even if you
don't want a carpet--take an hour with a carpet shop sales,
get lost in the Grand Bazaar, visit the tomb of Suleyman
    the Magnificent.
