Anyone familiar with any of the " adventure tours " offered
by Exodus or Explorer worldwide ? If you've been on any of
these tours, I'd love to get some feedback or if you've got
suggestions about seeing Spain in general. One important
question. Do single people often go ? I have no desire to
be the only single dude there. Thanks

Hey Alex, you were wondering about Spain. I was there in
Summer last year. Barcelona, as you may already know, is
the greatest city. There is so much to see and do. I was
there for over a week and still didn't see everything.
They have big, red, double-decker buses that drive all
around the city to all the major attractions, and a very
good value. I think it would end up costing more if you
did each site individually. Well, Port Vell is the night
club area. Paint the town red, mate. You'll meet heaps of
    people there. Live it up!

    Hi,
I have been to southern Spain three times in a year and I just love it. I actually leave tomorrow for Madrid & Malaga.
The Med sea is glorious in southern Spain. The must sees in Andelucia are Granada which has the Alhambra, plus the city itself is wonderful and entertaining. Mijas on the coast is exceptional and even Malaga has real good points. Most of these I did as day trips and spent the rest of the time meeting the locals and other tourists in Torremolinos, a resort town that I stay in. There are a lot of germans & british there and English is no problem most of the time. Traveling alone you shouldn't have any problem, the people are warm and friendly. Just don't look like a tourist and you shall be fine. Watch our for gypsies though. Good travels... Greg

Travelbag Adventures on 01420 541007 are another operator.
They offer (pretty similar to Exodus & Explore) group tours,
usually up to 16 people. The more active trips tend to
attract the younger single crowd, but I have found
Trabelbag's trips to generally have a mix of couples,
friends and singles and I can highly recommend them.
Their web site is fab: www.travelbag-adventures.co.uk
    Happy travels
