My girlfriend is over from USA on a holiday visa - she
would like to stay a little longer, and work, or do
voluntary work. I can support her, but I am in full-time
work myself, so she needs to fill her time during the day.
Is it possible to get a work permit from within Britain.
i.e. during this visit? we do not want to prejudice future
visa applications. If it is not possible, does voluntary
work contravene the terms of a US visitors entry permit?
