Anyone know of any quiet (ish) Greek islands where nude
beaches are the norm, nice sandy beaches, crystal clear
water, no perves, more a 'couples' place than a
'singles'resort ??......
Any help please !!

I'm not sure about Greece, but in Croatia you can find many
    places.

Well, I think you are asking too much: the islands where
nudism is the norm (like Mykonos and Ios) are anything but
quiet, whereas the more quiet islands tend to be more
traditional, more Greek and often nudism is frowned upon.
Don't despair though: some (a lot?) of the more quiet
islands have a couple of beaches where nudism is allowed or
at least tolerated. Often these seem to be secluded beaches,
which are less easily reached. I know that on Siros and
Serifos e.g. there are such beaches. I would highly
recommend both these islands. BTW, The _Rough Guide to
Greece_ is a reliable source of information about beaches
where nudism is officially allowed/tolerated.(I know, it's
blasphemy to mention RG on this site, but I feel that for
Greece, RG has the edge over LP).
    Enjoy your stay in Greece!

  3. Kalymnos and Karpathos. Added by: Sanne (ssv@tieto.dk)

    Hi there.
It is difficult to find quiet nudist beaches in Greece -
normally they are at those crowded places as mentioned in
the latest mail, however here are some advises.
On the island of Kalymnos ( 1╜ hour by boat from Kos) in
the town of Myrthes there is a small island called Telendos
just 10 min. away with caique. On the northern part of this
tiny island there is a nudist beach - peaceful and quiet
allthough the beach itself isn't that great.
    BUT:
Go to Karpathos and take the bus to Lefkos, which is a very
peaceful village on the westcoast. First of all here are
beautiful beaches - small restaurants - a minimum of
tourists - stunning sunsets and some great walkings and 5
minutes walk from the village is situated the most
incredible nudistbeach, where there's only a few people -
most of them couples or families. It isn't very common or
accepted in Greece to be nude on the beach and therefore
these beaches most often are "hidden" from everything else.
So is this BUT it is truly a very very beautiful place and
    I'm sure you'll like it.
    Regards
    Sanne
