got an embarassed look on my face as I type this, but I'll
be in Czech Republic for a while this summer, doing
an Eastern European tour. I've read that the latest laws
allow possession and consumption, but not distribution of
marijuana. can anyone tell me whether this means a system
like in Amsterdam (coffee shops, etc.?), and if so, make any
recommendations? thanks from this little stoner.

Of course it is possible to smoke joint in Czech rep., but
both is illegal, despite of possibilities of having a
little amount of it. It is NOT possible to buy it in a
coffee shop or something like that, but it is easy to take
it (you must know what to do...)
Hmmm, hope your stay in Czech republic will be as freak as
    possible.
