Car Rentals in Eastern Europe

Does anyone know about renting a car in Slovakia, Hungary,
Romania, or Bulgaria? Cost per day? Permissible to drive
across borders? We'd probably be interested in just 2 or 3
day rentals to make occasional forays into the
countryside. Thanks!
