Next summer I┤m going to spend a week in Balassagyarmat,Hungary. Does anyone know what kind of city it is? I haven┤t found much information about Balassagyarmat. I┤m also going to visit in Budapest.
What kind of people the Hungarians are? Are the prices cheap in Hungary? I┤m a18-year old girl and I would like to get some travel tips.

I hope the following address helps you to get more
    information about Balassagyarmat:

Hungarians in general are quite similar to other Europeans
(usually they don't eat 18 year old girls - so no need to be
afraid). About prices: well it depends on where you are
from, but generally spoken prices are a lot lower compared
    to Western Europe.

I found the Hungarian people to be very friendly. The
prices are extremely inexpensive. We went to the symphony
in Budapest for $1.50 and had a huge meal with bottle of
wine for less than $20 for 2.

    Hi Mari,
I am a 20 year old Hungarian girl living in Norway.I have
to tell you that if you are opened, like history, nice
buildings, good food, cool cafes, great clubs, then you
will have a great time in Hungary!Even thought
Balassagyarmat is not the middle of the world! You really
have to spend a lot of time in Budapest, in my town.It is a
    great place!
Most youngsters around 20 speak at least English.(Most of
my friends speak three, four and they are educated.)They
    are fun people too!
    Don't be afraid!Hungary is a beautiful country!
