Hi everyone!
I'm off on The Trans Siberian Railway from Beijing
sometime in October/November (Brrrr!). I would dearly like
any tips or hints people have about the journey, especially
official/admin type stuff (visas and the rest). Also, if
anyone knows of cheap and not too nasty places to stay in
Ulan Ude, Irkutsk/Baikal, Ekaterinburg and Tula(for Yasnaya
Polyana) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me in on the secret. I'd
be very graeful for any advice. Thanks a lot, folks. (And
if anyone's going to be in the region around that time too,
let me know and we can compare itineries or something...my
plans are still vague)
