I am trying to plan a cheap weekend break in Prague at the
end of June. The only snag seems to be somwhere to stay. I
am looking for a comfortable hotel, not too expensive that i
can book from the UK.
Does anyone know of anywhere nice they can recommend, i am
looking in the range of ú40 for a double room.
Cheers

to make a reservation, maybe unless you arrive really late
at night. There are lots of small private bed and breakfast.
You can either inform you in Prague in the tourist
information or just look at the Vaclavske namesti (the main
street), someone will ask you wether you still need
    accomodation.

Check out the AVE Accommodations web site at
www.avetravel.cz They have a good listing of
    hotels/penzions in all price ranges.

Rent an apartment from Avetravel--it will be larger and
nicer. We were unsure from the descriptions but were so
happy we did it. It was only $30 US/night, too! The
apartments on the Namesti Miru have a lovely view of the
church and are right on the metro.
