Hi! I am looking for a possible travel companion or just
someone to meet in India this October and November. It's my
first trip there, and want it to be fun and safe and not my
last! I am 25 and have travelled around the U.S. and one
trip to France. I plan to fly into Delhi and then go by
train north to Simla and the other hill towns-Dehra Dun,
Dharamsala, etc. then south to Amritsar, Bikaner,
Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Agra. I figure it
will take about 2 months. It's not set in stone, and I'd
like to take my time and not rush. I'd like to talk to any
women who have had travel experience in India who may be
headed there this fall. I'll check back here next week-I
don't have an e-mail account, but will be happy to contact
you by e-mail or phone. Thanks!

Hi, I'll be travelling around India and Bangladesh from the
begining of Nov'99, maybe even travel there overland
accross europe and middle east. I am male and 25 and in the
UK, which is where I'll be travelling from. My parents are
from Bangaldesh and this trip is a kind of 'finding my
roots' thing. Plans a flexible so drop me a line.

hi sarah, i'll be leaving korea in august and making my way
through china, tibet, nepal and eventually into india,
probably around about the same time as you...i have no
ideas about what i want to see in india yet, i'm a very
flexible person, and i am also planning to spend a few
months there, before going home to new zealand.
i'd love to hear from you, as i really think i should have
    a travel partner for india...

Howdy, I'm also planning to be in India about the same
time, I have sent an email to Jess (listed above) already,
as I would like to travel with someone (preferably female)
    through India also.

  8. On my way in the Fall! Added by: Sue (sue-u@usa.net)

    'Ello There!
I'm coming over from SE Asia to India around November,
and would love to have a travel partner, preferably female.
This will be my 2nd trip there, and I can't wait to see all
the changes, as well as hit sites I missed the first go-
around. A month is probably my plan, then possibly Nepal
    and China...
By all means give me a yell -I'm looking forward seeing
    if we can connect!
Even so, my advice to anyone spending time in Rajasthan
is to check out Pushkar, just over the hills from Ajmer. A
    really magical place!
    Good luck! Sue

  10. india/nepal/thailand Added by: jezz (jezzw@hotmail.com)
[Timestamp: Sat 22 May, 15:39 Tasmanian Standard Time]

I'm a woman in her mid 40's, very young, fit and full of fun and adventure who is leaving on 31st July to travel for a year. I expect to be in India around end Sept. and plan on spending a month or so travelling around there before doing some trekking in Nepal. I plan on travelling through Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, N.Zealand and Fiji before heading back to Vancouver, B.C. I'm very flexible and tend to "go with the flow" but would really like to meet someone (male or female) who plans to be in India/Nepal around the same time who would be interested in travelling with me.
    Very Excited!
    Jezz
