And a nice cuppa always goes down well.
Nothing beats billy tea, properly swung in an arc over the
head to settle the tea leaves, and then with a couple of gum
leaves thrown in for good, authentic measure. Try not to
stand near an overhanging branch when swinging the billy
though.
of good strong cup of English Breakfast myself! Scottish
Shortbread is always good too.
myself, and a nice cup of Milo.
and proper coffee are really great.
Ginger nut biccies are yummy. I used to find that Ginger
Snaps were the best ones to dunk in tea or coffee because
they were so thin, but since Arnotts has been taken over
the recipe must have been changed, because Ginger Snaps
just aren't the same as in the good old days.
I must agree. They have become thick and the quality of
the product has fallen somewhat. Ahh, grandmam-ma made the
best ones. Fresh ginger nuts, straight out of the oven and
a good strong cuppa. Them were the days!
everytime!!
Milk chocolate digestives also get my vote, followed by
shortbread and Tim-Tams. Swedish ginger cookies are also
good as are Pepperidge Farms various varieties of chocolate
chip. As an accompannying beverage miight I suggest some
fresh brewed Sumartran or Brazilian cofee or some Ceylon
tea. Delicious! .. .
