Hello hello hello all.
I find it kind of weird that noone seems to mention this
resort on the various forums. It seems as though many people
havent even realized that a Club Med resort has opened in
Varadero, cuba. In fact, it is supposed to be one of Club
Med's finest resorts.I personally might be interested in
visiting this resort, so if i do, i will make sure i post a
report on the trip commenting on the place. Now, although
one can certainly obtain general info with regards to
accomadation and facilities from the various Club Med
brochures, it would great to hear from someone who has
actually stayed there. Hey, there is nothing like hearing
first hand info and comments. So, bye all, thanks to those
who reply. And i wish you all bonnes vacances.
PS:Whats the age group of the clientele there?

Has it occurred to you that maybe the reason no-one talks
about Club Med here is that people contributing to this
site don't GO to Club Med. They tend to do their
    travelling a bit more independently.

    Salut les pirates,
The Varadero Club Med has to be a must. It doesn't compare to
any other Club Med I've been before. The food is premium, the
activities are awesome. The GO's all have so much class.
The age group is older for a single's club. I would say about
35 and up. No americans, sorry they just aren't welcome in
Cuba. So the atmosphere is kind of a French Riviera Club for
all the Europeans and some Argentinos friendly people.
Last tip : Learn some French before going. You'll better
    enjoy the experience.
    Hasta la Vista

You post this, again and again, and you have even
incorporated my criticisms into your new posting. I hope
you are happy now and sod off with it. I am just sick of
seeing this f***ing post of yours. Just go, or don't go,
and shut the f*** up about it. THANK you. Gracias.
    Merci. Arigato.

  5. Americans are welcome in Cuba Added by: Stuball (stuball@sk.symapatico.ca)

    Celine;
Cuba does welcome Americans just as much as tourists from
any other country. My wife and I were at Club Med Columbus
Isle in February and made good friends with Americans.
Some of the most wonderful people I have ever met are
    Americans.
Thanks for the info on Club Med Varadero. We will have to
try it soon. And I hope we meet some Americans there.
Is there any scuba diving offered in the resort?

Celine is a truly insecure, uninformed, loser! Cubans are
nice to all foreigners, especially ones with lots of fulas
(dollars). All foreigners are truly welcome. Americans, in
particular, are treated better than the rest of the
foreigners. Why? There are fewer of them, they have many
relatives in the USA, they want better relations with the
USA, and 90% of them want to move to Miami.
