Hi there fellow travellers!!
I would be really grateful if somebody ccould let me know
the best and most cost effective way of island hopping! Are
there are special passes? Also are there any islands that
are unsafe? I have heard that Jamaca is a bit dodgy!!
I have worked hard to save money ffor this trip and would
appreciate some sound advice!!
Thanks!

You are probably better off selecting a cluster of adjoining
islands, such as the Eastern Caribbean from Guadeloupe to
Grenada for island hopping. There are a number of small
inter-island air carriers including LIAT.These islands are
    all safe.

Jamaica, because of its location, is not conducive to island
hopping other than to Cayman Islands, Cuba, and the
Dominican Republic. Air Jamaica is the local operator.

In spite of some recent bad publicity Jamaica is reasonably
safe as a tourist destination. Perhaps far safer than Miami,
    Florida.
