I will be working in Boston this summer and would like to
travel afterwards (on a low budget).
I am interested in travelling to The Bahamas, Barbados or
Hawaii.
I have been trying to check out the costs of accommodation
and flights etc. but , if you have any information which can
help, please contact me.
Thanks

I have not been to Hawaii, but have been visited both
Barbados and the Bahamas several times. I understand
Hawaii is expensive, but Barbados in particular is very
costly and not geared toward budget travelers.
    ~
The Bahamas is also not cheap, though the outer islands
(outside of Nassau, paradise Island,Freeport) are less
costly and offer great outdoor and underwater activities.
    ~
Flights from Miami are pretty cheap, about $125 RT and
American Airlines has service from Boston. Barbados is
always an expensive ticket and Hawaii is as well. I have
never stayed at enything but a nice hotel so I can't
comment on accomodation rates, though it is fair to say
that you could find a place for $50/night. Have fun and
    eat lots of conch fritters.

If you want to go to a family island in the Bahamas, try
Andros Island. You can fly in from W. Palm Beach or Fort
Lauderdale, Florida on Bahamasair. More information at
http://www.divebahamas.com and my home site at

    page.
