Didi, I have just returned from Provo last week, and
although I can't really recommend any cheap accommodation (
although you could try the Erebus inn on Blue Water rd)
because I stayed with a friend who lives there, I can tell
    you what to expect.
If your after peace and empty beaches then Provo is perfect,
although there's not much in the way of sights to see, It is
one of the most unspoilt Islands in the Caribbean, If you
don't already I would strongly recommend to you that you go
diving, Provo has the most amazing coloured sea that I have
ever seen (and I've been to a few beaches in my time). If
your after a good night out you could try the SharkBite in
Turtle Cove on a friday night, a lot of the Ex-pats
(English, American + Canadian mostly) who work there, hang
out here which usually make for a good laugh. Although one
thing I did notice was that every thing starts earlier in
the evening, you'll find your self going out at 5.00pm
getting drunk and falling in to bed at about 10.30pm !
There's plenty more I could tell you but I'd be here all day
so if you want to know any more then drop me an e-mail and
I'll reply in detail (I have some pictures of the Island If
you have the ability to be able to view them)
While I remember you could check out www.provo.net for
general information and accommodation prices on the Island
If you want to know anything else please donÆt hesitate to
    ask.
