COSTA RICAN SPANISH SCHOOLS

Please help! I am looking for a good, friendly Spanish
school in Costa Rica. I want one not too far away from the
airport as I have to return to meet someone after one week.
I will be by myself and want to feel comfortable and
hopefully have things arranged before I go in early June.
The schools there seem quite expensive, around US$320 and
up. Is this average? Please let me know of your experiences
there. I am getting very EXCITED now that it is down to less
than one month!
Any suggestions are appreciated! :)

I don't have any information about the language schools,
but can tell you a little other information.
The buses run every where and are very reasonable, so it
won't be too significant where you stay, you can always get
    back to the airport.
San Jose is a large, modern vibrant city, but does have the
big city vices - purse snatching, etc.
You might want to go to school in Alehuala, which is
actually a little nearer the airport than San Jose and is a
lot smaller. It's a very safe city with a large municipal
park in the center, movie theater and bus depot.
The Hotel Alehuala is very well located, if it's not too
    expensive for your budget.
    Have a great stay.

I went to language school at Instituto De Lingua Espanola
in San Francico De Dos Rios. I am not sure if they do short
term programs because I was there for 4 months. I don't
have an other info. It was very good and about 300 to 400.
