San Jose - Tikal - Merida

Further down Nancy wrote, that you can fly from Guatamala City to Tikal for $ 59. Does anyone know of travelagencies to contact in CA and what the price would be if we combine this with San Jose, CR as starting point and go to Merida/Cancun after Tikal (probably we'll have to fly via Guatamala City/Mexico City).
Thanks in advance

Nancy is a travel agent in Antigua. Go to her web site:http:/
    /www.cyberwebsite.com/vision/
She should be able to give you some advice.

If you will be flying on an "international" airline, the
prices are pretty much fixed. Good feals can be found on
smaller "regional" airlines, but often times you cannot make
    a reservation much in advance.
I would buy my "international" ticket in advance, but be
    aweare of extra feess.
For example, to buy a plane ticket in guatemala (even if it
has NOTHING to do with Guatemala...), there is an extra 20%
    tax added.
My point is, if all things are equal and you find a standard
fare, buy it where the added taxes are the least.
Good luck. Write if you have more questions.

I've always found it very easy to visit a local travel agent
when I get to my first destination. Travel agents in the
states don't always have the up to date info on another
countries smaller local airlines. I always have been able
to get a flight out or in as needed.
