surfing Mexico!

Me and my friends are going to Mexico in June. We thought
of going to a laid-back place somewhere between Acapulco
and Mazatlan. We are beginner- intermediate surfers so we
are not looking for the big, fast and hollow waves.
Do you know if there are any cheap places you can
recommend?
Thankā”¤s a lot /Tomas

If you go a little further there is Playa Esplanedos where
a lot of local surfers hang out.

you should really go to puerto escondido. this is where i
learned to surf. Playa Zicatela is where the big waves are
and a killer rip current, but there are other beaches and
an area called "the point" where beginners learn and
another cove less than five minutes south. this is an
international surfer town with a good nightlife. once you
go to puerto you won't want to leave. it's so laid back,
people are friendly, and lots of encouragement and
    motivation for keeping at it.
