Night bus from G.C. to Xela?

Anybody know if there's bus service from Guatemala City to
Xela after 7:00 pm? I checked the transportation page on
the Xelapages site, but it appears that at least the
last pullman service bus is at 7:00pm. Any ideas? We'd
like to make it to Xela after our plane arrives at about
8:30pm.
thanks!

the 7pm is the last bus.
why not stay overnight at the dos lunas guest house for
$120. per person and get an early start the next morning???
if you want more info, please write.

Uuuunh.....because $120 is a bit outside my budget.
Something (considerably) cheaper would be no prob, I
wouldn't mind spending the night in G.C.

Dos Lunas Guest House is $10/night, not $120 (Nancy just
made a typo). It's a great place to stay, too - the owner,
Lorena, will pick you up at the airport and serves
breakfast - all included for just $10.

i would never recommend anyone to travel at night in
Guatemala anyway even if there was a bus. having said that
guate city is a shit hole. Why not take a bus the 45 mins
to Antigua. Very commercialised, but much safer than Guate
city. You can then get on a bus(one change normally) to
Xela. Xela is good fun and a great place to learn Spanish
as it's not full off gringos(well not so bad) as Antigua.
    Buen

The best lowbudget place in Guatemala City is HOTEL MEZA,
Avenida 10 with Calle 10 ( very easy ) where el che one,s
slept ... only 30 Quetzales or about 4 USD ...
Why for the devil would you pay 120 .... even Quetzales ?
    Patrick.
All the best .. come by in Xela , Salon Tecun

Hey, don┤t pay attention to Patrick, even if you save some money going to this cheap pension Meza in comunal dorm, you will have to pay for a taxy around US$10.00 because that late at night there┤s no buses available.
Zona 1 where pension Meza, is dangerous, taxis are dangerous some time... so
Guatemala is a cheap destination bus just because backbackers found the chapest place in the world doesn┤t mean that everybody has to go there and feel very uncomftable, why don┤t you mention the rest patrick? no hot water, uncomfable beds, noisy and dangerous area?
US$10.00 is nothing for a tourist, and less if that means, a nice room, a delicious breakfast and a shuttle from-to airport. all for the same price. Well Dos Lunas has it.
You are crazy Patrick, add to your room at pension meza the taxi, the breakfast and the dangerous....doesn┤t worth it.
also, who cares about this rebel el Che... it┤s not your culture and your story by the way.
    are you stingy?
