was wondering if anyone could help me out. i'm planning on
going to guatemal for july and then on to costa rica and
colombia, but not necessarily in that order. my question is
that as my time is limited (only can stay until end of
august-have to get back for school)does anyone know how much
does it cost to fly from guatemala to CR, and from CR to
colombia? or Guatemala to Colombia? and is there anything
that i absolutely have to see in a brief stay in CR? want to
relax, meet fanatabulous people and have an amazing time!
thank you so much... have fun travelling (: amy

We just got back from Costa Rica and it's a very enjoyable
    country.
If you're really into nature, I'd see the cloud forest at
    Monteverde.
At all costs, be sure and see the active volcano, Volcan
Arenal. To really enjoy it, you'll have to hire a guide at
night to take you up the side, but you should see flowing
lava, and it's quite spectacular. Afterwards, go to the
natural hot springs and enjoy them. Sometimes, depending
on which side the lava is flowing down, you can float
around in the hot springs and watch the lava at the same
    time.
    Have a great trip.

Give me your flight dates and destinations and i can send
    you current prices.
Note that any plane ticket purchased in Guatemala is subject
    to a 20% tax.
Therefore, you are better off paying for your costa rica to
columbia ticket from a different country to avoid the excess
    tax.
Also note that to leave Guatemala there is a $20. exit tax
collected at check-in for international flights.
