We've heard about Mitch and Honduras. Any reports/websites
to check on Mitch's effects on Nicaragua? Travel tips on
Nicaragua are also welcome.

    Hey,
Thanks Mary! I've heard only good things about people in
Nicaragua. Everyone says they are very friendly. I'm
looking forward to visiting. I also can't wait to talk to
people about the revolution. I think that my country's
(USA) policies toward your country were horrid and am kind
of embarrased about it. Nicaraguans must be very forgiving!
    thanks!

    Hallo,
I just returned from Nica. It is really a wonderfull
country, but if you want to know about the revolution, maybe
    you have to speak spanish.
Another option is to take spanish classes in Esteli, at
Escuala Horizonte,. It is a sandinista school, with learning
books, and the people tell a lot!
Do not forget to visit Granada, Isla Ometepe, Matagalpa.
There are lovely quit beaches at Pochimel and another, south
of Leon. (also a nice city.) Y
The country is cheap, friendly, helpfull, and save. I didnot
have any problems. If you have some specific questions,
please ask me, I think a know the country a little bit.
    Enjoy Nica,
    Joke
