Hi,
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a taxi or bus from
Mexico City Airport to Acapulco in the evening.
If so, how much would it cost - a flight is about $120 US
if I book in the UK
Thanks
Alan

You take a taxi from the airport to the bus station. From
there take the next express first class bus to Acapulco.
The price is very inexpensive, I remember something like
US$18. Not sure when the latest scheduled evening bus
    leaves Mex DF.

Just make sure you get to the right bus
station---there are more than one. Different bus
statons for different areas of Mexico.

The best time to travel to acapulco from mex city is take
AT LEAST a 1st class or deluxe is better and not much more
expensive. around $20 US From the Sur station and another
one as well, buses leave on the hr every hr and the trip is
12 hrs. Take a taxi HIRED from the kiosk in the airport.
around 7 US dollars, expensive. Do not hail one outside.
The taxi driver will know which bus station you need when
you explain you want to go to acapulco. i've made this trip
several times, overnight while sleeping was the best. I
woke up and I was there. they show american movies as well,
usually spanish subtitles, but you can get bad luck and get
a lousy dubbed one. have fun.
