Chato or anyone ,
Please give me the email address of the dive shop in Santa
Cruz on the lake.I believe they are called Pana divers.
I would like to ask them where to get hold of a nautical
chart for lake Atitlan. I saw one on there wall 2 years
ago. Also if anyone else knows where I can get that chart
would appericiate the help.
Thanks

Hello Allen,
I donot know where this lake is, but if there are nautical
charts you should be able to get it via a shipschandler
or a shop who sells f.e. sailboat accessories.
If you give me the where-abouts of the lake I can check
my almanac and give you the number of the chart.
There are many many Santa Cruzes in my Nautical Atlas but
the lake you are mentioning is not listedunder this name if
listed at all.
brgds,

It can be bought at the National Cartographic Service in
Guatemala City. This is a large office on Ave. Las Americas
in Zone 13 on a corner, across the street from a Pops
Ice cream shop (good excuse to buy a good ice cream cone
too). The cross street there is probably 3rd or 4th street.
Approximate cost: $5.00 This is within walking distance of
the obelisco in a very nice part of town so you don't have
to carry mace or anything.
Thanks Chato
