  1. here we go again!!! Added by: lucy
[Timestamp: Fri 16 April, 10:48 Tasmanian Standard Time]

Way to go Flemming! It feels a little weird to post here but
I'm sure I'll get use to it! I wonder how many dickheads
will bug us with advice such as "Get a life"?
So, what's everyone up to this weekend? I haven't got any
plans at all so far but I'm sure something will come up,
hopefully this will not involve anything expensive since I'm
a bit strapped for cash at the moment. Maybe I'll just stay
home all weekend and watch the AFL. Go Geelong!
So, hello from Sydney to everyone. (Just keeping up
    appearances!)
    XOXOXOXO

    Hi everyone!
I have one big question. Me and 4 mates are going to
Australia in July and August. We' re landing in Melbourn
and driving up the east coast to Cairns. Now my question:
are 14 days enough for the distance between Cairns and
Darwin (we'll also go to see the Uluru mountain - app. 700
km)? We have to catch our plane in Darwin.
Thanks for the info and have a nice sunny day, Nina

  20. hey Added by: lucy
[Timestamp: Mon 19 April, 10:19 Tasmanian Standard Time]

What a weekend!!!!! Phew! I'm tired just thinking about it.
Friday, 3 friends and I hung out together, drinking etc. It
was pretty cool. Saturday night, the same 3 friends plus
another person and I went to a bar that had $2 drinks until
midnight (!) and proceeded to get pissed. Unfortunately,
while we were at the station, a fight started and ruined the
whole night. Everyone was shouting at each other, everyone
ran off in opposite directions leaving me sitting by myself,
wondering what the fuck was going on. When we got home, the
fight continued for awhile then the crying started. Talk
    about a drama.
So how was everyone else's weekend? Next week it's another
long weekend so that's an extra day to drink and dance and
do whatever else you feel like doing. :)
    ****
Sas-- how long are you going for? Is it just London?
    ****
Ad's-- I've lost your phone number! Oops! I'm not working
this week so I'll be home every night if you want to call
    me.
    ****
One last thing, I'd just like to say that Geelong won on the
weekend in case you didn't know so up your bum to all those
people that said they'd find themselves on the bottom at the
beginning weeks of the season. Woohoo. ****We are Geelong,
the greatest team of all, we are Geelong, we're always on
    the ball.****

Hi guys, hope everyone had a good weekend. I went down to
London to see some family. One of my friends has just jetted
off to Egypt for 15 days and I'm not going to see her 'til
mid Aug when I get back from trip, so I'm a bit sad
    (aaahhhhhhh)
Andrew, I had a look at your website - nice piccies. sorry
    about the crows.
Jake, hope the weather gets better soon, but when I lived in
Belfast it didn't stop raining or being cold for the 6 years
I was there, so I don't hold out much hope! Still It's
    brighter down south I hear.

your head in. I think Lucy meant that the $2 drinks stopped
at midnight you fuck, not her. Piss off.
    And who says Coca-Cola?

strangest sports known to mankind - Aussie Rules!! Imagine
36 players on a field kicking and hitting each other (and
occasionally the ball) - and you even get a point
    for 'missing-but-almost-hitting-the-goal' hehe!! Like
vegemite it's very much an aquired taste!!
Beth - thanks babe!! Did ya find any guys?

I am a bit nervous today as Man Utd are playing tonight and
it is a must win thing. So if you don't here from me

[Timestamp: Thu 22 April, 9:56 Tasmanian Standard Time]

Good morning everyone. It is a bit slow around here
actually. Where are you Debs? Ad's? Sas?
I see John stuck up for me (do I know you?) when Paul got a
bit smart. Thanks :) I did mean it was the drinks that
    stopped.
    *#*#*#*#
Flemming- What else do you have in your collection? Are we
only allowed to hear techno etc. or can you put on something
that has words. Preferably words that aren't repeated over
and over again throughout the song.
    *#*#*#*#
Beth- How are you babe? Give us the details woman. Tell us
your impressions and more importantly, what the action is
    like. :)
    *#*#*#*#
So, I realise that it's been ages since we had a friendly
debate of some kind so I've got a question for you guys to
answer. A friend of mine has just started a relationship
with this guy but she says she isn't going to tell him that
for 4 years she was with another woman. I think that she
should tell him because most likely he'll find out anyway
and also, if he cares that it was a woman then he isn't the
right guy. She says that because he's Italian he has strict
views on things. What the hell does that have to do with
anything? She's also Italian and she doesn't have a problem
with it. What do you guys think?
    *#*#*#*#
Ad's- I sent you an email to your work, did you get it?
    *#*#*#*#
Jo- You haven't said much about yourself yet. We are very
nosy around here so spill it. :) Yes, Andrew and I were
talking about AFL. It's a great game. And a good perve too.
    *#*#*#*#
Andrew- So you are an Eagles supporter huh? I see our teams
are topping the ladder, both being undefeated. It's about
time Geelong had some good fortune.
    Kisses and hugs to everyone.
    Love Susan

Lucy - what can I say - so far very good:) I have been
staying with some friends I met while they were travelling
in Engand - I used to go out with the guy and then I met his
sisters and now I am sort of staying with him or at his
parents (very cosy!!). The people are great, the weather so
far has been quite good and the beer is very cold! I
haven't done much yet - just been relaxing. Been to Bells
Beach, St Kilda, MCG - to see Hawthorn be beaten by
Melbourne - very annoying as I was told to support Hawthorn!
oh and I have been up the Rialto tower - amazing views. I
will keep you posted if anything else happens.
Flem - no I have not met a man yet that feels the post of
marriage material - but I am keeping my eyes open;)
Andrew - have you put up any new pics on your site - what is
    the address again?
Anyhow peps I am off shopping now. So I will speak to you
    soon.

Last night I had a date with a girl from work who'd asked
me out to see a movie. There I am in front of the cinema
waiting. And waiting and waiting! And waiting. And she
never shows up!! So feeling slightly down I take the bus
home and decided I might as well do the 'footy' thing - sit
down with a beer and watch Man United beat Juventus.
    Hmmmph, what a night :(
Jo - poor Schmeichel eh? 11 mins and he'd already been
passed twice!! Man Utd did a very nice comeback though!
Lucy - hey Underworld has words hehe! I'll vary my
selection a bit and include some garage and clubhouse - put
your hands up in the air! As to your question - I think she
should tell him now even though she believes he won't
understand. If she waits and he finds out anyway it'll be a
lot worse! Sorry for calling you Susan, my mind must have
    been wandering a bit ;-P

Flem, Sorry about the date, or lack of. Is she nice or just
'okay'? have you seen her since at work and what excuse did
she give? Bitch, what's she playing at.
I'm feeling a bit precious today as I went out last night
and was more drunk than I realised. The people who were
there before us had been eating and had left full, and half
full bottles of wine. bloody cheap night. Then I had to bike
    home which was quite fun!

there you all are. Yippeee! I've been calling and calling
    yoo hoo yoo hoooooooooo.
I went on hols and came back and you were all gone.
I'm so glad I found you all.
    How is everyone?
Welcome to Oz Beth. Support Essendon and you might have
    more luck. :-)
I hope Andrew comes back real soon.
I'll be in West Oz later in the year with the family and
we're looking for good places to camp out. I rekon he might
be the man to help me. :-).
His new look site is terific.
Flemming is that you with the snake.
Very tall. (you I mean Not the snake, well actually the
snake is long) Whats the go with the wounded mozzy? Ive
    been reading about it everywhere.
I've got the travel bug really bad and I cant wait untill
the 17th of July when we head off to explore this fab
    country.
Speaking of which It's ANZAC day. Lest we Forget.
Anyway catch up some more later. I was touched to see that
    I was missed.
    Love Debs.

Lucy, Andrew, Ads, Beth, Sas, Flem etc.
Oh there you all are. Hooray I've been calling and calling
    but no-one answered.
Hello hello hello. big hugs all round.
I tried to post here earlier to day but my post seems to
have vanished into thin air. Poof.
Anyway Ive been on hols up the north coast for a few weeks
which was great. Weather was fab. Not so good down here in
    the south though.
I've got the travel bug real bad.
    *Andrew, love your site mate.
We are heading off with the family in July for at least 4
months and we are looking for places to camp away from
caravan parks etc (dont think I can handle hearing the
pensioner cough everymorning). I thought you might be the
man to help me with some suggestions.
I've been to the CALM site and printed some info about the
    national parks camp sites.
Can you tell me if anyone can stay at the places you stay
at or do you need to get special permission. The old
homestead at Point Malcolm and Toolina Cove etc sound
    really nice.
We are bringing a van so the road conditions may be an
    issue too.
Anyway if you can help out I'd really appreciate it.
*Beth welcome to Oz mate. If you support Essendon you may
have more luck. I have a feeling they are going to have a
great year this year. ( I have that feeling every year by
the way But this year I think it's different. Come to think
of it I say that every year too. Ever the optimist Debs).
Melbourne is a fantastic city at Footy time.
(sings) I'm high on the hill looking over the bridge to the
    MCGeeeeeee.
and out on the right the clock on the silo says 11
    degreeeeeees.
    I remember.
    Sorry I digress.
*Flem, Is that you with the snake. Very tall. (you I mean
    not the snake. hehe).
Whats all this about wounded mozzy's? I'm reading about
    them everywhere.
I think it was a sensible idea to start a new post. the
only problem I have is that It's hard to find amongst all
the others. (It used to be easy, just hit end and scroll up
    three and you were there.)
Anyways not too high a price to pay I guess. At least you
dont have to wait 20 minutes for it to load. (although this
post I'm typing is so long you might).
I missed you all and I was touched to see that some of you
    missed me back.
Ill see you all soon I hope.
Oh by the way its ANZAC day so Lest we forget.

Anyway thanks Andrew. We have a Pajero and a couple of

    for hockey fans. Go Sens!
Andrew (and Flemming), I just had a look at your web-site.
It just made me want to return to OZ more than ever. I
lived in Melbourne when I was there and travelled up the
East coast. I spent a bit of time around Darwin and then
came down thru Alice. I had to save the west coast for my

hey everybody!! Oh bloody hell why do weekends always go so
fast? Seems like it was Friday two seconds ago and it's
already Monday morning and work again :(
It was a pretty cool weekend in the company of great
friends and great beer. I didn't go out (I know you must be
shocked). I'm saving my strength for next weekend where we
    will party all of Saturday!!
    *~*
Debs - Welcome back babe!! We've missed ya heaps!! I don't
know if Andrew mailed you my snake piccy - but I'm not on
Andrew's webpage (yet). That "mozzy" quote is from a
hilarious Monty Python sketch - and a couple of times on
Andrew's trip we were really being eaten alive, fighting a
loosing battle armed only with Aerogard hehe!!
Pobbit - you definitely have to see the West Coast!!!
Jo - apparently my date got stuck in a non-moving train for
45 mins. So she's forgiven and we're going out again
    tonight...
Anyway I have to pretend to work a bit...see ya! love, Flem'

    ...my last day at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend - although Flem you're
right, they go far too quickly. I went out on Friday with a
couple of lad friends and had what can only be described as
an 'odd' night. Still I woke up with yet another headache so
    it must have been fun.
My bike is well and truly in a critical condition
after Thursday's drink and ride. I seem to have messed up
the gears and brakes in such a way that it is completely
unusable. I will have to take it to be looked at, but I
    think survival chances are minimal.
Yesterday I went for a pub lunch with some mates - you can't
beat roast beef and yorkshire pudding in your local can you?
Flem I hope you are working hard at whatever it is you do,
I'm not 'cos like I said it's my last day, last day, last
    day........
My manager has made me some lovely chocolate bicuity cake
thing, so I'm stuffing my face with that, hanging round here
and emailing people. What a life.
    Love to you all

Hey Debs talking of Anzac day, there is getting fewer and
fewer old diggers left I just hope that we dont forget what
Anzac day is all about and it dosent just fade away to the
history books!. Lets also hope that all these conflicts

Is there more than one Snake man of Bilbunya?
Well the Bombers had another win although it was a bit too
    close for my liking.
Andrew I'll be in Perth when the Grand Final is on so if
it's a Bombers/Eagles affair we may have to meet up and
watch it together. Yeah I'd like to see all those Eagles
fans faces when Essendon exact their revenge for that
    wolloping last week.
    Enough of that.
Where are the girls Lucy, Beth and Sas?
Do any of you guys go to the TTYC? Some very strange things

G-Day guys how is every one today?, Debs the picture on the
web page is of a Young guy called Rick Who came on the trip
I took flemming on and the other guy with a big grin on his
face is his dad Terry. Still waiting for flem to get his
slide turned into a print so he can scan it and put it up .
I think he needs a bit of a push, come to think of it maybe
a bloody big push !! Come on Flem your fans are waiting??.
Rick got the name snakeman because there was no way known
in this world he was going to hold that snake!, but the
picture speakes for its self Ehh and all he could say after
that was " see that piece of rope or see that and this It
reminds me of the time I held a snake" .he went on like
that for most of the rest of the trip, come to think of it
he always semmed to be like that but he was a great kid
with a great sence of humour . He kept taking off that Guy
David strasman " I think thats how you spell his surname"
you no the one with the pupets Teddy Bear & Chuck, and did
a good job of it as well. You always have one on a trip, I
think I had quite a few comedians on that trip.Ads good to
here your voice again dont leave it so long we think you
have got lost or drowned in a vat of wiskey or something
terrible like that!! Debs I know the Eagles are on top at
the moment but it is going to be interesting to see if they
can stay there. I realy dont mind who wins a game as long
as it is a good & fair game, the best ones are when it is
nice a close only a few pionts in it Ehh. Lucy how are you
going sweetie?? take it easy on your self the body can only
take so much you know. ps I told you what to do with that

Was that a thinly veiled attempt at saying that if it's a

(I cant remember the exact figure, I tried to block it out
of my nind instantly) it isn't so good to watch. Well I
agree thats true exept when its the team you support
    winning.*lol*
Wait till September boyo then well see whose happy. (only

Your friend Rick the Snake man posted on the tree the other

I'm feeling lousy at the moment. I think I caught a cold

my own computer! This was so much easier when I was working,
but its still worth the effort to come in to the wonderful
Global Gossip (Claire if you need somewhere cheap to email
from this is quite a good place - just up from the big
shopping centre on Elizabeth Street) and see what you lot
    have been up to:)
Sas - I have emailed you those numbers honey - don't know
what happended to your last mail lost in virtual space
somewhere. As for Jase, I have just emailed him - I haven't
heard from him since he left London - but I gave him
directions to the new lounge so hopefully he will drop in
    soon.
Lucy - forget that guy as Andrew said he is not worth it -
come to Melbourne and we can go hunting together;)
Claire - I haven't found any decent clubs as yet - the
people Iam staying with are all couples and not really into
the scene - last weekend we were supposed to be going to
Twister in St Kilda (maybe its the one mentioned in an
earlier post??) but that fell through as two of the group
had food poisioning (spelling??)from a Spanish restaurant
we had been to the night before and spent the eve throwing
up (probably a bit more info than needed but what the
hell!:) Where are you staying in Melbourne and how long are
you here for? I am in Richmond - really nice area but quite
    quiet.
Jo - so you are off to Manchester for Uni - I was there -
well at the Manchester Met - you will have a ball - try
Sanky Soaps if it is still going it was one hell of a club
in my day!! - which was a couple of years back now granted
but it was one of the places to go as a student - and try
the curry mile - its a whole street full of Indian
Restaurants (can't remember the name of the street, its just
known as the Curry Mile :)
Flem - don't be shy with those pics - I still have the ones
you sent me so if you don't get them posted I could
always..... (oh go on then give me $200 and I will forget
    all about them!)
    Speak to you soon

Thanks for the info will ask around, we tried Heat at the casino which was OK a bit cheesy though.
Looking forward to the weekend, we are working at the moment and its sooo boring, we have no work to do.

sitting down to watch a game when its all one sided even if
it is your team thats winning !! no point it becomes a fore
gone conclusion you loose interest and go and do something
else. But if its real close game you will sit there on the
edge of your chair bitting your nails and screaming
Ehh!!!!!!!. By the way Debs I think Flemming needs to be
threatened ! a lot?? Talking of Flemming He emailed me and
said he was having withdrawals , as he can not seem to get

I drove in Melbourne for the first time yesterday - very
wierd experience considering I have not been behind the
wheel for 6 mths - still trying to understand why people go
in to the left lane to turn right - very confusing!
Anyhow just thought I would share that with you.
Andrew I will send the photos to you if that is okay with
our dear friend DJ Flem. Having a bit of trouble with
email but will try to do it soon.

love the Monty Python lads and if ya get me started I'll do
    Python jokes all day.

So we did the movie date again Monday - and this time she

Andrew's right Rick is the real Snakeman (cos there can be
only one or something like that!).

Lucy, yeah I like Fat Boy Slim saw him live last year which
was heaps of fun. Underworld are fab, they played here in
Copenhagen while I were down under so I missed them. Do you
    like Daft Punk?
Sas babe, thanks for that great update on the other old
skoolers. I believe Marty is still frolicking around Canada
with her Kiwi boy. I agree, we need that funky party mood
back in the lounge so today I'm doing a French day with
    Cassius, Air, Daft Punk etc!!
gotta run, love from DJ Flem' -o-

    Salutations,
Andrew, can you post the address of your site, I'd love to
have a wee peek. I'm sure it's back earlier in the post
somewhere but I'm a lazy bastard!
Sas; I was in Texas for work reasons for a month or so and
that kept me quiet for a while. I'm off to Arizona soon for
another stint, approx 3 months, so I might be a bit scarce
again. I'll pop in for a quick read when I get access and
time. Life is a bit hectic at the minute. The house is
finally finished and I moved in. I hope to be back home in
summer so I can make the London bash. Good to see the old
timers showing up for roll call now and then. Where's
Hayley? Nice to see Ava back in the picture. Does'nt it give
you a warm fuzzy feeling to see people drop in who have'nt
been around for a while but who have not forgotton the crew?
Have to go, keep up the flow.

Hi Everybody!! Just popping in to say hi and that I still
exist ... I'm back in Copenhagen and life is rosy ... the
Amsterdam thang didn't work out - couldn't find
appropriate work and invested all my savings on drugs ... so
then it was a quick trip through Belgium and then back to
the land of the beautiful people ... Haven't had much of a
chance to get internet access as I generally work 14 hour
days as a brickie's labourer, and when I finish I'm usually
too exhausted to even think or talk or shag or DIY even ...

It was a bit quiet in here to start off with. You know just
one or two posts a day but today Wow 8 to read and two from
very old friends. Hi Jake and Jase good to hear from you
guys. The house is finished Yay.
Flem- Whats you favourite colour? Red no Blue Ahhhhhhh.
Andrew- Yes I agree theres nothing worse than a one sided
game except when the losing team makes a comeback. Did you
see that great game two weeks ago Sydney V North Melbourne.
How exciting was that? oh and by the way where is Steaky
    Bay *lol*
Beth- That left hand lane to turn right thing. Whats IS
that all about? I always hand over the wheel to someone
else before I get to the trams. Or else park the car and
    get on one.
Well I'm going to see Frenzal Rhomb at ANU next week.
Taking a couple of 15 year olds who need adult supervision.
What do you reckon in the pit or out? *lol* That Crowd
surfing thing looks like heaps of fun, until you get

Anyway glad to see the crowd begin to swell.

[Timestamp: Fri 30 April, 10:35 Tasmanian Standard Time]

So many posts for me to read this morning. That's what I like
to see guys!!! It's finally sunny in Sydney after the worst
weather I can remember. I feel sorry for all those people
whose houses and roofs were damamged in the hail storms the
other week because now when it rains, there house gets
soaked. The day after the storm I was walking to uni through
Redfern and I was amazed at the damage done to some of the
cars. It looked like someone had picked up a hammer and
    pounded little dents all over.
Anyway... nice to hear from Jake and Jase and that they
haven't forgotten about us little people on the web.
Flemm- Daft Punk is not really my thing but some of my
friends are really into it so I know some of their stuff. If
you'd asked me about a year ago if I thought I'd be
listening to that kind of music I would have laughed! It's
funny how your friends tastes can influence you so much.
Beth- I'm so jealous that you are in Melbourne! I think it's
one of the best cities in the world although being from
there might make me a little biased.
Andrew- Nope, I'm still seeing that guy but it's not a
"thing" if you know what I mean. We aren't together but
    nearly everytime I see him,something happens. I know it's
not going to lead anywhere so it's a waste of time but I
can't help it. My friend is always saying, you deserve
better blah blah blah. I know I do but...
Debs- The closest I ever got to a moshpit was at a Reef
concert a few years ago. Judging from the bruises I had from
just standing next to it, I wouldn't recommend going in.
Unless the idea of being elbowed, kicked, spat and pulled
from every direction appeals to you. Hehe.
Well, Geelong play the Hawks this weekend and apparently
it's on TV in Sydney. Guess I know what I'll be doing that
    day!
Everyone have a great weekend! I'm helping a friend move so
tonight we are having a celebration since it's her last
night in her house. Should be a goodie.
    Love you all
    Lucy

I can't believe I am finally going tomorrow. Thanks guys
for welcoming me into your cosy lounge. I've enjoyed
hanging around and relaxing here. I'm sure I'll pop in once
in a while to let you know what/how I'm doing.
(Lucy, I am off to LA, Cook Islands, Fiji, NZ, Oz - Sydney
to Cairns and Darwin, so hope the weather is better for
good now in Syd, and then to Bali)
Beth - thanks for your info on Manchester. Ive already
experienced a curry on the 'curry mile' - i still don't
think people know what the road is called. I can honestly
say it was the best I've ever had, and I have had quite a
few - still talking about curry (by the way). Where did you
    live when you were there?
Flem - maybe you could play somethinbg to put me in the
holiday mood - I expect 'we're all going on a summer
holiday' is out of the question but something that I can
sing along to would be great.
Andrew - unfortunately we're not heading west on our tour
of Oz, so here's lots of kisses for Perth xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
(that is where you live isn't it?)
I am now going out to get absolutely slaughtered with all
my friends, one of whom has been assigned to stay sober and
make sure I get home safely. Apparently I am going to need
    it......
anyway, pls email me to say hi, and I'm sure I'll be back
soon with lots of interesting stories.
    Bye

You are going to be missing the best part of OZ, still you
can save it up for next time. Look all of Australia is
great! I do a fair bit of travelling through the West I can
not make my mind up which part I like best " yes I have my
favourite spots " but each place has a beauty of its own
whether it be North or South ,desert country or the coastal
plains. Have a great time over here mate where ever you
go,Oh and yes I am in the Perth Area , up in the hills in
    the Darling ranges.
Debs Streaky Bay is in South Australia , if you were
coming across the Nularbour from the west you would come to
a place called Ceduna. Streaky Bay is East of there about
110 km down the Flinders Hwy . Should be easy for you to
find on a map. Sorry I missed the game between Sydney and
North Melbourne been very busy, the same this weekend too
probably will not get to see the Eagles game either. Who in
the hell are Frenzal Rhomb?? ( showing my age now).
Lucy glad the weather is picking up a bit in Sydney Ehh!!
And NO BUTS YOU DO DESERVE BETTER BLA BLA BLA AND MORE

weeks ago and already he's telling me how much he likes me
which I think is weird. Anyway, all my friends are pushing
me to go for it so I can forget about the other guy,
commonly known as "Dickhead". The thing is, if I decide I
just want to be friends with him then everyone is going to
think that I'm still waiting for Dickhead when that's not it
at all. But maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself.

Pobbit- I cant imagine how cold it gets in your part of the
world. I tend to hibernate in doors for the whole of winter
here and we only get down to zero - 10 or sometimes 15
degrees. When I hear of temperatures of -30 deg I cant
imagine how you carry on with your lives.
The only good thing about winter is the footy. Heard the
bombers song agian on the weekend. Keep on singing boys.
Your in Fine voice. Is It okay for someone old enough to be
his Aunty to drool over Matthew Lloyd? hmmmmm yum!
Andrew- when you posted your response to Sas about Streaky

Hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was not to bad
although I have been burning the candels at both ends of
late. Debs things seem to be progressing up the road , both
of us are just feeling our way I think Kelley has had a bit
of a hard life her Defacto used to beat her something
cruel, so you can imagine she is a little bit timid and do
not blame her.Myself a bit reluctant to enter into another
relationship as well, so steady as she goes as they say but
we seem to enjoy each others company and have the same
interests, camping, footy, birds of the feathered kind, music
    etc...
So a few late nights have been had or should I say early
mornings. The second Oka is getting there, found a bit of
rust the other day so busy cutting that out, you tend to
get a bit of rust when you do a lot of beach work, but you
get that.Did not see the steaky in stead of streaky Eh !!
mind you have had a lot of bouble vision by the time I get

I just got off most packed train in the history of trains.
It felt like New Year's! It was so stuffy and hot that

Heres a song for You mate.
Immanuel Kant was a real piss ant who ws very rarley stable
Heideggar Heideggar was a boozy beggar, he could think you
    under the table,
David Hume could outconsume William Fredrich Hegel.
Whittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as sloshed as
    Schlegal.
theres nothing Nieizche could teach ya bout the raising of
    the wirist.
    Socrates himself was permanently pissed.
John Stewart Mill of his own free will, after half a pint
    of shanty was particularly ill.
Aristotle Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle
and Hobbes was fond of his dram,
And Renes Descart was a drnken fart I THINK THEREFORE I AM
    and Socrates is himself is particularly missed;
A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed.

what kind of bike are you looking for Andrew? I'm kinda
looking at a Yamy XJR 1300. Retro looks with loads of
grunt. My current day to day ride is a Kawa Zephyr 750, but
I have found that when I'm on longer rides passing those
long roadtrains with a fully loaded bike can be a problem.
Gotta plan it just a little too much! I like the retro
naked bikes cause I can see the working bits, nothing worse
than having to spend an hour on the side of the road taking
off faring, just to check the plugs! anyway enough bike
stuff, I'm proberbly boring people stupid. Perth has been
overcast for the last few days, I think that winter is
here, nothing but rain forecast for the next few days.
Friday! thank god. This is the last weekend I will get for

next two weeks. Work 21 days straight, yuk!

Hey everyone! Hope you had as good a weekend as I had. Went
clubbing with some friends Sat night at Club Mantra where a
DJ from Paris played an awesome funky house set! We didn't
leave the dancefloor for one second and when we finally
left the club at 6 am we could barely walk. Mantra was
packed with clubbers and it was the best night out I've had
since I came home!! By the way it's so surreal to walk out
of a club in the morning - and it's daylight!
    ~
so yesterday just heaps of chilling out to videos and
    pizzas..
Debs - I suddenly realized where that song is from, haha!!
Id' forgotten about that one. Btw have you developed your

Ads - don't worry, we'll let ya know when and where when
    it's organized!

everyone else knew what it meant except me. I asked Andrew
and he didn't know either so that made me feel better.
Flem try this site. www.pythonline.com and follow the

Python and even stuff you didn't.
Beth- Did you get all those things Ads wished for you for

Welcome back to Dughall. Long time no post. Crispy Hi,
sorry I cant help but someone else probably will.
Lucious Lucy I loved your song Darl. Thanks for the vote in
the TTYC beauty pagent. Although, as I said, if you were

your beautiful singing voice. ÷┐÷ hehe
Off to Frenzal Rhomb on Thursday so if I dont post for a

I'm soooooo tired! I really don't know what the hell is
wrong with me, I just want to stay in bed all day and sleep.
I didn't have a big weekend or anything either. Hmmm. I was
supposed to meet a friend at 9pm on Saturday night at a pub
but after an hour she hadn't turned up. So I called her
house and her dad told me she had gone to the movies! I was
so pissed off! If she didn't want to meet me she could have
told me before I changed my plans and spent $12 on a taxi
just to meet up with her. How rude!
Debs- Good luck at the concert babe. I hope you don't come
out of it with too many bruises. Just keep your elbows up...
getting a knock in the chest isn't fun. I'm glad you liked
my song although I'm sure if you actually heard me
    singing... :-)
Flemming- Glad to hear that you had such a good weekend!
Beth- I'm guessing the reason why we haven't heard from you
in awhile is because you are recovering from your birthday
    celebrations. Do tell!
    *******
    And another song...
I heard you crying loud all the way across town
You've been searching for that someone
and it's me out on the prowl
As you sit around feeling sorry for yourself
    Don't get lonely now
    Dry your whining eyes
I'm just roaming for the moment
Sleazin' my backyard so don't get so uptight
you been thinking about ditching me
No time to search the world around
Cause you know where I'll be found
    When I come around

    G-Day Guys
Sorry have not posted for a while been suffering the
dreaded FLUE, Still!! got the little wog but dont seem to
beable to throw it anyway, been filling meself up with
Pills And lemon juice and honey, Ehh!! so hope fully it
will be gone soon . Been dreaming of Warmer pasture's along
the Canning must be the drugs and Whiskey, "Great mix" does
    wonders
thought I would just share this poem with you seen you all
    been singing of late
Can you here when the northwinds are sweeping
with warm breath the far reaching plains -
A soft voice that sets your pulse leaping
and stirs the red blood in your viens,
'tis the voice of the northland speaking,
And it whispers from that distant afar-
If you romance and adventure be seeking
Come follow my bright beckoning star
Can you herewhere the waving grass dance
like strings of softly played lyres
A sweet music that some how enhances,
    A vision of northern campfires
    But perhaps it maybe perchances,
you`ve a restless spirit and bold
then you'll win in the northlands far glances
a wealth not counted in gold
So go while the soft voice is urging
like the call of a lost child
Go while the the hot blood is surging,
Through the viens tumultuous and wild
For in the soft night wind that is sighing
Through the moons mystical curtains of light,
Tis the voice of the north that is crying
In the breeze that whispers tonight.
    Love to all
    Going North

    Belated happy Birthday Beth.
    -
Any luck with the Bike search Damo? I like the Bandit, but
I'm a bit of a retro fan and dont much like all the plastics
on the race-reps. The Zephyr's kinda nice too. I love
    Kwackers. I have a 1978 Z650 which rumbles along like a
    dream.

Count me in for the London bash.

[Timestamp: Fri 14 May, 14:23 Tasmanian Standard Time]

it seems like ages since I last posted. Thanks for all the
birthday wishes - I had a great day and night (I think!!!!)
An old friend from England was in Melbourne so he came too
and all of my new found friends. I drank far too much and
danced far too much - my little toes are just recovering:)
Four of us were supposed to be leaving at 9am on the Sat to
travel along part of the Gt Ocean Rd for the weekend, I got
to bed at 6ish and was up at 9, 2 of the other people didn't
manage to get out of bed for most of the day so me and this
guy (the only other one who survived) decided to go and
watch the last quarter of the footie at the MCG then we had
a quite night in watching lots of stupid films.
Ads - I got most of it and a few variations.
Lucy - If I could remember anything I would tell you -
    honest honey.
Flem - went to see the Matrix on Wednesday eve - totally
awesome - Im not a big fan of sci-fi but really enjoyed it.
Andrew - hope you are better now - did you get my mail??
Sas - hows the packing going???? Write soon.
Jake - are you the one from Ireland who tried to get us all
to help paint your house by bribing us with Guiness??? If so
I hope the house is going okay.
Jas - I am no longer talking to you - where are you??????
As for everyone else - hi!
Sorry if none of this makes sense I have just come from a 2
hour interview and my brain is frazzelled :)
    Love to you all
    Beth

There's a shaggin' echo in here it's that quiet! Have you
forgot to pay for your internet access? I know it's a
holiday in Denmark so that's Mr. Flemington covered, but
    where are all the aussies?
    -
Beth, sounds like you had a howler of a birthday, more power
to ya. Yep, it was me who shamelessly tried the well known
Guinness bribe. I even figured I might get some to fall for
it as half the regulars here are total pissheads (and I mean
that in the nicest way!!!!!). But no joy. Had to paint the
place all on me own. Anyway, it's done now, and it leaves me
free to enjoy our lovely Irish summer! I believe it's
scheduled for a Wednesday this year. Better take the day off
work and fire up the barbie.
    -
Andrew, thanks for the mail. I'll keep in touch. What a life
you have mate, your a lucky b*tard!

seems like it's just the three of us in the lounge today!
Things have been very quiet for a while haven't they?
    -
Had the best night at club Vega, it was a real old
fashioned RAVE with hard pumping techno, girls and boys
with fluorescent makeup on and everyone going nuts on the
dancefloor!! Woohoo, wwwwwwwhat a night!! For some reason
heaps of girls talked English to me - even though they were
Danes?! Well I thought it was hellfun and just played along
hehe, and talked English all night.
    *
Beth - you go girl! Sounds like you had a bit of a party on
your birthday!!!! Wish I could have been there ;)

Jake, I had completely forgotten that house-painting story,
    hehe. I'm not really a guinness man, that's why I didn't
    show up hehe!

Have the most funky weekend everyone - and get posting!

  133. tHOUGHT I HAD FOUND A CURE Added by: ANDREW
[Timestamp: Fri 14 May, 20:29 Tasmanian Standard Time]

Yes thats right I thought I had found a cure for the flue!!!
It went somthing like this: Take one 750ml bottle of
whiskey to bed with you,( GLENFIDDICH ) along with your
best Akubra hat. Lie down on bed and put hat on foot, Then
open bottle of whiskey and proceed to drink ( in my case
around 1/2 of a bottle) until you see two Akubra hats one
on each foot and the The room spins etc... Sounds great,
Felt great Ehh, until next morning when your head hurts
more than when you lay down in the first place the night
    before. Boy my head hurts!!!!
Ehh Jake it is a good life and yes I am a lucky B*stard but
it is not all fun , a lot of work goes on behind the scenes
Ehh . I have missed placed your email address you will have
to send me it again mate !! I will note it down this time.
Glad to here the house is all painted sorry could not have
got there , I think we would have had a ball.
Flemming sounds as if you are getting in some practice for
    London Ehh!!
The Canning Stock Route is looking real interesting Eh ,
because of the Two Cyclones we have had and yes it is
raining again in Exmouth Ehh. So could be another wet Trip
even though I am heading into the desert, they say that at
Savoury Creek there is over 5 feet of fast flowing water at
present!! " interesting". Okay a big hello to all and have
    a good one Ehh .
    Andrew

[Timestamp: Fri 14 May, 21:18 Tasmanian Standard Time]

Andrew I thought I told you to take echinacea and garlic.
Oh well your way sounded like a lot more fun. I did the
same thing on a trip between Adelaide and Alice on a buw
with no air conditioning in a 45 deg heat wave years ago.
Somehow in the middle of this heat wave Deb picks up a flu
and a really high fever and decides that drinking a bottle
of Southern Comfort straight would be the most acceptable
cure. Well after many halucinations and sweats and chills I
arrive in Alice still with the flu and a raging hangover to
go with it. So I can completely sympathise with you mate.
Where is everyone anyway. It's awfully quiet in here lately.

Boo hoo!!! I have a nasty cold and I feel miserable. I'm off
to bed soon with a cup of Milo and some Vegemite on toast,
not that I can actually taste anything.
I had a pretty good weekend. Some friends came over to my
place on Friday night and we drank Quick Fuck's all night.
They were bloody yummy. The guy who I've told you all about
before has been a pig to me over the last few days. I saw
him last Thursday and it was like I didn't exist. Friday
night I asked him what his problem was and why he was being
so weird and he said it was me who had the problem. Bullshit
baby! Anyway, Saturday he was pretty much back to normal
again but by Sunday night he was Mr Asshole once more. I
just don't understand. I think he thinks that I want him so
he's giving me the old cold shoulder routine. Well he should
wake up from the dream he's in and get over himself. And
that's all I have to say about that.
How was everyone else's weekend? Beth, it sounds like your
birthday was a ripper. How old are you anyway? :-)
Andrew- My neighbours did the Canning Stock Route a few
years ago and I sat through the 4 videos they made of it. It
looked pretty interesting. Maybe I'll go someday when I'm
    rich!

I'm getting bored to death with all their carry on in the
    YC.
Survived the Frenzal gig. Had a pretty good time actually.
Didn't bother with the pit. Watched from the bar instead.
    Uni bar prices $3/bourbon. Yummy.
Sorry this is in point form. I just poped in/on for a mo.

Lalala, the sun is shining today in Copenhagen and it's 16c
degrees, woohooo...summer must be on it's way...well it
better be, it's been so bloody cold here!
    ~
I've heard from Marty and she's in England at the moment.
Unfortunately she's had her backpack, passport, ticket and
everything stolen! Hopefully she can still make it to the
    London thingy...if it happens...hey here's an idea - why
don't we all meet on the 28th of August in London and go to
the Creamfields festival together?? Paul Oakenfold, Carl
Cox and heaps of others are playing...
    ~
Lucy, I can't believe that guy he sounds like such an
idiot!! Tell him to go play on the highway!
Debs, you're right about TTYC. Most people there wouldn't
qualify for Kindergarten, I cannot believe what's going on
in there at the moment. They need a bit of the Spanish
    Inquisition me thinks!
Crispy, yep Triple J is pretty big and pretty good - even
though there's a bit too much of that "surfer's punk rock"
like Jebediah and Grimspoon (spelling?) on for my taste.

the first person to either name the tune or complete the
lyrics gets to post a new tune. What do you reckon? Lucy
    inspired me with her singing.
OK I'll start with an easy one.
I will come to you at night time
I will wake you from your sleep
I'll kiss you in four places
I'll touch your head and touch your feet
I'll sqeeze the life out of you
You will make me laugh and make me cry
and we will never forget it
you will make me call your name and I'll shout

Okay guys and gals, I need your help. I have been invited
to a friends birthday next weekend and the theme is
Millennium (God how do you spell that?!)/Space. I am
hopeless at this sort of thing so I need your advice, so
far the suggestions have been the Euro, Y2K bug, Space Vixen
(blokes suggestion obviously) the girl off Buck Rogers and
the 21st Century (what was her name - Thelma or
something???) - and Sale of the Century (don't quite know
how that would look???). As I only have a few days I need
    your advice desperately - cheers.
Jake - no comment to your post!!
Debs/Lucy - I am hopeless at this sort of thing - you will
have to post the answers soon otherwise I wil spend the rest
of my time in Australia in record shops trying to figure the
    songs out!
    Lucy - just turned 26 - please don't laugh I am feeling
fragile enough about the age thing - as my dearest daddy
pointed out I am now nearer 30 than 20 and will be classed
as a late 20s person! Yuck!
Jase honey - thanks for the mail - I will write soon
    promise.
    Sas - where are you?
Crispy - hows the head - have you had any more Mule
recently? My head is abit tender at the moment - these pots
are really deceiving, they are so small you drink them far
too quickly and end up with a bad hangover!
Anyhow, get those thinking caps on guys.

Beth, I'm with Flem, go as Princess Leia. With Star Wars a
hot topic at the moment you'll be a big hit. All you need is
a white dress and get your hair done in two big loops, one
to each side! A cheapo flashlight with some greaseproof

Good news, good news. I got a new job. No more shift work
ever again. Back to working normal humane hours. Time to get
reaquainted with the mates down the local.
    -
Flem, how is Marty doing? Hope she's getting over being
ripped off. Tell her we were asking for her. Hope we all
    make it to London.
    -
The house is done and I'm having a monster
    bash/bbq/pissup/trip/session-type-thingy in a few weeks.
You're all invited to the emerald Isle for the event. Maybe
I should arrange it to happen around the same time as the

    Hey all!
I hope some of you remember me; I started to post just
before you moved to the new site. By the way I noticed a
new post on the old JALH. It was Marty. One of you should
let her know where you are. I would hate for her to think
    she was abandoned!
Lucy~ I hope I don't sound naive, but what is a Quick Fuck?
(just read your post 136). I am so happy that cocktails are
    cool again.
We are just heading into a long weekend here in Canada.
Yah!! I'm going camping at the most beautiful place with
the most horrid name-- Crotch Lake!
Have a good one everyone. By the way, the name Cloe has
nothing to do with this post, but I just always wanted to
    name something that.

[Timestamp: Fri 21 May, 11:05 Tasmanian Standard Time]

    I haven't got a clue what that song is! I guessed Flem's
Madonna song but I was too slow in buzzing in my answer.
I went to the Casino last night after work with 2 friends
just to have a Laksa at the City Noodle Bar. Well, I was
trying my hardest to convince them that we should go to the
real bar but knowing how guys love eating so much, my
efforts were in vein. My Laksa was so hot that I had a head
spin for the next hour! Who knew?
    _
Debs- Isn't it shit what's going on over at YC? I use to
like to read the posts over there but now they are all about
    the same thing... pure shit.
    _
Jake- I was wondering if you were the same Jake as the one
on YC. I figured that you weren't because that guy seems
like a real dickhead, not like out Jake, hey guys?
Congratulations on your new job too! And I hope the party is
    a success.
    _
Beth- How are you babe? Have you decided what you are going
to wear yet? Hey, 26 isn't old! I reckon it's the perfect
    age (I can't believe I just said "reckon"). I think I'm the
youngest one here actually. How old is everyone else?
    _
Andy Pandy- Where have you got to?
    _
Pobbit- I remember you! Good to see you again although you
might have to refresh our minds with a few details about
yourself. In regards to your question, a Quick Fuck is a
shot, Kahlua on the bottom, Midori in the middle then
Bailey's floating on the top. Yuuuuuuuuum.
    _
    And now for my song:
Early in the morning, risin' to the street
Light me up that cigarette and I strap shoes on my feet
Got to find a reason, a reason things went wrong
Got to find a reason why my money's all gone
I got a dalmation, and I can still get high
I can play the guitar like a mother fucking riot
Life is (too short), so love the one you got
Cause you might get runover or you might get shot
    Never start no static
I just get it off my chest
Never had to battle with no bulletproof vest
Take a small example, take a tip from me
Take all of your money, give it all to charity
    Love is what I got
    It's within my reach
And the Sublime style's still straight from Long Beach
It all comes back to you, you'll finally get what you
    deserve
Try and test that you're bound to get served
    Love's what I got
    Don't start a riot
You'll feel it when the dance gets hot
    *******
    _
    And another easier one:
    I'm packed and I'm holding
    I'm smiling, she's living, she's golden
    and she lives for me
she says she lives for me
    ovation
    she's got her own motivation
she comes round and she goes down on me
    and I make her smile
It's like a drug for you
do ever what you want to do
    coming over you
keep on smiling, what we go through
once stop to the rhythm that divides you
and I speak to you like the chorus to the verse
chop another line like coda with a curse
and I come on like a freak show takes the stage
we give them the games we play, she said

Where have Scoobs, Mr.R, Sara, Pabs, and of course Hayley
got to? Flem; do you have any info on them?
    -
Pobbit, good catch on seeing Marty over at the old thread. I
sent her a quick mail. What part of Canada are you in? I
used to camp up at Crystal lake near Fenelon Falls, do you
know it? I'm assuming your from Ontario, but I could be
miles off. I lived over there for a few years. Travelled
quite a bit there too. Sorry for forgetting your details if
you have already posted all this info before.
    -
Lucy, I used to like some of the stuff over on YC, though I
never did post there. But lately it's both ends of a bollox.
I'm hurt to think you even considered that fecking eejit was

You've moved to JALH#2...great idea....doesn't take so long
    to load.
Made it to Dublin..........got a new job with net access to
    keep me sane.
    Missing Oz already.
Bored again ..... Hot Irish summers do not exist.
Looking forward to the Sydney summer again.

T-shirt weather for sure. (I said that just to make you
jealous) You and Jake should get together for that barby in
    summer. *lol*
Seriously I'd love to come to Ireland. It's top of my list
for places I want to go overseas next.
First I have to get this Oz trip out of the way.
Lucy you stumped me babe. I'll have to ask Kirsty to have a
look. I thought I was cool but I'm obviously not. hehe.

What's everyone up to this weekend? I had a night at home
last night and ate Chinese take-away and watched Halloween
H20. I have to say that it is one of the worst movies I've
seen. There's this funny bit where someone is killed by an
iceskate to the head. I'm not some kind of sicko that likes
that kind of thing but it just looked so stupid sticking out
    of the guy's head!
Tonight I'm planning on doing nothing again since I have no

okay, so I know you have probably already seen Something
About Mary, but I saw it for the first time on Friday eve -
can't believe I didn't see it sooner, parts of it were
boring but there were some scenes that are still making me
    giggle.
Lucy honey, thanks for making me feel better about the age
thing! However I now have another issue with my age - there
were four of us at college who became bestest of friends
(shit that was 10 years ago!!!) anyhow, two of them got
engaged last year and then the worst thing happened, Sally
called me Friday morning just as I was rushing off to work
to ask me if I would be her bridesmaid, I said yes without
thinking then suddenly realised that left just little old me
without a fiance or boyfriend for that matter - how
depressing!! Well not really cos I'm not into the marriage
lark but I am bridesmaid to all of them - whats the saying
    "3 times a bridesmaid never a bride"?? I am doomed -
I've already been a bridesmaid twice!!!!!! I suppose one
good thing is that Sally is getting married next March in
Florida, so I will be able to go there from here - hopefully
    with a good tan :)
Jake/Onai - how is Ireland? I was supposed to visit an old
Uni friend who lives in County Cork before I came over here
    - I will have to go when I get back next year - is that
    anywhere near you guys?
I don't want to admit this cos I can't stand the team, but I
am going to see Man U play at the MCG - anyone else going???
I think Princess Leia is a great idea - just worried that
quite a few others will go as her - girls will agree with me
here, there is nothing worse than walking into a party/club
etc and seeing another girl in the same outfit!!!! Anyhow,
I will let you all know how it turns out!
    Love

here's a massive *HUG* from me. I can't believe YC at the
moment, I've given up on it, it used to be fun but not any
more. Now it's just a huge shouting and flaming contest.
Don't worry sweetie, you can always come in our lounge here
and meet your friends, we're here!!
    ~
I've got a story about Friday night out, probably my worst
ever...here goes it's long so forgive me if you don't find
    it funny:
Friday night started out great, I hung out with a few
friends and we did the usual routine of drinking, playing
loud music and call everybody else to see who was up for
going out. Around midnight weÆd found no one else but the 3
of us who wanted to go out so we took off for a
house&techno party at a club weÆd never heard of û but the
flyer looked cool. We take a few beers for the road and
walk all the way. WeÆre still having heaps of fun until we
actually get there and discover itÆs a small party with no
people in a basement at one of our Unis. There were 10 guys
there and no girls. These 10 guys just stood in the bar
nodding their head to the music and drinking. No one was on
the dancefloor. The ironic thing was the DJÆs, the sound
system and the light show was fucking great! Deep techno
and house and it was cool. But no atmosphere no people no
nothing. We had some beers and then we thought ôitÆs now or
neverö and the 3 of us started dancing and dancing and
really putting on a show. We danced for, I dunno, 45 mins
and no one followed our example, people just looked at us
like we were 3 weird gay guys, so we decided to get out of
    that dead place. Mission failure.
    *
So off to club Mantra we go, with a stupid taxi driver who
we almost get in a fight with, and when we get there we
find out that û CopenhagenÆs no. 1 house club as they
proudly call themselves are having an R&B night. Faark!
    Mission Failure.
    *
Now my friend Jesper is so depressed he just wants to go
home, so a new and even more stupid taxi driver (who we
argue with cos he makes several wrong turns) takes us to
JesperÆs place again. My friend Ali and I don't really feel
like going home yet so we walk quite a bit to another club
where they usually have techno/house music...we get there
and they have an...80Æs pop night! Woohoo! Mission failure.
    *
Now we have collectively walked a marathon and weÆre more
depressed than ever. So we sit and wait at a busstop for 40
mins, talking and fucking annoyed with Copenhagen...then I
had to take a piss and walked behind some trees...and
sprained my ankle by tripping over a bicycle on the
ground!! Mission failure - and then we went home!!
    ~
Someone in a high place apparently didn't think we should
go out that night! Stupid clubs, stupid taxi drivers,
stupid Copenhagen and stupid bike behind tree! God we were
so depressed...but the whole thing is sort of funny now.
    *
Just talked to sas, she's so excited cos she's leaving in 6
days and getting everything ready at the mo. Cannot wait to
    see you in London babe!!!!!!!!!!!!
    *
    gotta run people, see ya!
    love, Flem'xxx

    Morning All,
Thanks for the friendly welcome again.
Been in work for only a couple of hours so far this week
and I'm already dreaming of Friday.
Debs, U don't have to try to make me jealous. I'm already
thinking of bringing forward my return ticket and hitting
Sydney pretty soon. Spent Saturday in Co. Wicklow...pretty
close to Dublin...beautiful scenery and waterfalls but
typical sun, cloud, overcast, drizzle Irish weather. This
country is beautiful if it was indoors.
Lucy, I know exactl;y what its like to be poor. At least
with money in your pocket U can party hard and ease the
    boredom.
Beth, Don't fret ,you'll find a soul-mate. BTW Cork is on
the south coast of Ireland and Dublion is on the east
coast. But they're pretty close of U think in Aussie
    distances....maybe a few hours drive.
Crispy, I'll gladly have a drink on U but Guinness not
Murphys is more my style.....off to Temple Bar this
    evening...Yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhh..!
Take care guys....Big hello to everyone else.
Bye for now ... back to work....:-(

The thing is I'm getting the blame for all this crap and it
was just a little toungue in cheek post of the variety we
    have here that started everything.
They take themselves way too seriously.
Oh well they can have their fucking stupid site.
    This is much more pleasant.
about your weekend I think you should have stayed home.
    *lol*
BTW Flem is that you posting visa info requests outside.
When do you plan to come back?
Onai dont worry about the spelling mistakes, we all knew

    Ireland so beautiful.
    Where is Andrew?
    Does anyone else have icq?

a few times and on Saturday I even put in a good word for
you but by Monday the post was gone. Don't let them get to
you! As Flemming already said, you are always welcome here
    with us.
Flemming- Is isn't it always the way! Everything going wrong
in the one night, nothing turning out as you planned it.
I've had a few of those too. But at least you found the
humour in it and besides, it makes a good story. Hope your
    foot is feeling better.
Crispy- I actually meant to say Third Eye Blind instead of
Tonic (oops) about that song I posted. Anyway, Tonic had a
few songs last year or maybe the year before I think but I
don't think they've done much since. My friend has there CD
but I've never heard the whole thing.
    ****
I've had really bad sinus for the last few days so I've been
miserable. It feels like someone is sticking pins around my
    eyes. :-(
I've got to go to the library at Uni today and I have the
feeling I'll be there for at least 3 hours or more. What a

Debs, yes that's me posting about visa info. I'm almost
done with the fucking application (god it's a lot of work)
and it's time for sending it in. But it takes the
Immigration office about 12 months to process it, so I've
no idea when anything will happen! That's a bit frustrating.
Glad you're feeling better, I can't believe how everyone
jumped on you yesterday. Some TTYC'ers do think they are oh
so serious - and it's disgusting really.
Lucy, thanks - the foot is better! We really should have

drank way too much Guinness and am dying at my desk here
now. I'm back to my bad habits. At least at my desk in Oz I
had Sydney harbour and sunshine to ease the depression a
    hangover brings....God my head hurts...!
I just need someone to hold me and tell me its gonna be
    alright...(Jesus, I should write songs).
Anyway, Hi to Debs, Lucy, Flem (its worth the wait for an

Flem - oh dear is all I can say. As Lucy said it does

    I think I'm becoming a net junkie...!
    Flem,
I applied for independent permanent residency from Ireland
in early 1996. It works on a points system with points. I
got my visa later that year (about October) and went down
under in Jan 1997. I can come & go as I please
now......thank God. I'm going back after the summer
here...maybe September and already can't wait. Think I can
apply for citizenship as I've lived in Oz for more than 2
    years.
    Beth,
Congrats on the new job. I'm in a similar situation where

Beth- I was glad to hear about the new job and Ive got
just the thing for you. There are these filters which you
can get which reduce the glare from screens and the great
thing about them is that the monitor cannot be read until
you look at it straight on. Like Lcd screens or something.
Give it a go. So in theory, your bonce will be in the way
and you can net away the day in perfect pancake happiness.
Or throw a black cloth over you and the computer and say
you prefer the "working at night" effect.
Lucy- This Tonic/ Third Eye Blind thing is doing my nut
because it sounds exactly like my mates over here. Could
you name just a couple of their songs or tell me where they
were born. Id really appreciate it.
Flem, youll look back on that night and laugh when
    you're older.
I was very cultural last night and went to see "The
Merry Wives of Windsor" by William Shakepeare at the open
air theatre in Regents park. Had dinner at a belgian
restaurant which had a beer list of 100+. Anyway, will go
to bed now coz Im knacked. Hi to all Ive missed, lets all
agree to leave the TTYC well alone, now Ive dicovered what
exactly it is and how everyone is in a slanging match.

  183. Long weekends are too short!! Added by: Pobbit

Hi All- I just spent a great weekend camping. There was 10
of us there-a few couples but mostly just a group of
friends. No rain, an island to ourselves, plenty to drink
and smoke--paradise! We had some pretty deep pow-wows
around the campfire; also some not so deep like the
inevitable Q --"what is the weirdest place you ever did it?"
Actually, one interesting thing we started to think about
was how each of us would score the movie of our life. My
music would be so varied!! Have any of you thought about
    this before?
Anyway, it was back to teaching again today-Shakespeare!
Jake-- I hope you had a good experience when you were in
Canada. The place you mentioned didn't sound
familiar, although I am in Ont. Near Ottawa, actually.
    HAVe a great "humpday" everyone!

    Thanks anyway Pobbit................... I think?
Flem and Onai. *lol* Conehead and Handsome? hehe
Onai how many points did you get for spelling? Remember
Mundee, Nundee and Monday. Thanks for making me laugh so
    hard.
Had an email from Andrew and he's been really busy getting
accreditation (which he got) and organising the Canning
trip but he said to say Hi to all.
ICQ means I seak you and its a system by which you are
alerted when your contacts are on line and they can chat
with you or message you wherever you are on the net. Its
cool although you sometimes get real dicks sending messages
that are a bit yucky. Thats Ok though cause you can just
move them to your ignore list and never be bothered by them
    again.
Thanks for adding me to your list Lucy and Ad's.
Hey, guess what I'm talking to Lucy now.
I was supposed to be going to a 21st on Friday night (first
one for years) but the guy got elbowed in the face at
football on the week and has a broken jaw in 2 places,
shattered cheakbone and broken nose. He is completely
unrecognisable and has surgery today. So needless to say
the 21st has been postponed. In the meantime I have extra
people staying here who were going to the party so I think
    we'll have a party anyway.
    Well I'm off.
    Seeya Love to all
    Debs
Ps. Flemming you crack me up.
