Way to go Flemming! It feels a little weird to post here but
I'm sure I'll get use to it! I wonder how many dickheads
will bug us with advice such as "Get a life"?
So, what's everyone up to this weekend? I haven't got any
plans at all so far but I'm sure something will come up,
hopefully this will not involve anything expensive since I'm
a bit strapped for cash at the moment. Maybe I'll just stay
home all weekend and watch the AFL. Go Geelong!
So, hello from Sydney to everyone. (Just keeping up
appearances!)
XOXOXOXO
to you too Flemming. I'm from Melbourne, and am about to
have some sushi for lunch. Is it cold over there?
I tell you what this take a little bit of getting used too!! 2 seconds and she all loaded up??.
Lucy you can always pop over and see me for the weekend and we can watch the AfL together Tarra " welcome" pull up a chair, warm your self by the fire and enjoy your sushi "not so cold in here". I am going to have an old fashoned stew and Damper me self!!
Okay guys have an absolutely fantastic weekend if I dont hear from you before, and as a very famous Dane once said
" REMEMBER THERE IS NOTHING MORE DANGEROUS THAN A WOUNDED MOSQUITO"
ONYA FLEMMING
Love to all
Andrew
Now wasn't that a good idea....Lucy give me a call

someone did a very good impression of me!!!!! Cos I did not
post the last post under our original thorn and I didn't
post this one either???? Oh hell, I couldn't have done it
better myself so I'm not complaining - it's just weird haha!
~
So here we go again - a fresh start by my alter ego and
let's keep it busy, keep in fun and keep dancing!! (I'm
beginning to sound like 'myself' hehe)
-
I talked to sas on the phone yesterday, I wonder if she's
the one playing me hehe? She certainly knows me well enough
to do it haha!!!!
I'll check in later in the day, a slightly puzzled Flem'
needs his morning coffee. Love to you all!!!!
I'm at work (8.30am!!!) and thought I'd just add to your
post to let you all know how excited I am. In 15 days I am
getting on a plane to LA, then to the Cook Islands, then to
Fiji, then to NZ, then over to Sydney in mid-June.
Travelling up to Cairns and over to Darwin and then to Bali.
I can't wait.
Hope everybody is well, isn't it weired (and cool) how good
friends some of you seem to be having not met.

of fun with us 'oldtimers'!!!

the moment!

Flem has an admirer, or were you still scuttered from your
birthday and just dont remember starting the new post? I bet
it's the latter! Is it only 6 weeks sas? We'll have to have
the "topside" TT meeting in London then. Where has everyone
gone? Welcome to the new folk; have a ball.
Later.....work to do!
the addiction continues! Thought I had better do my bit for
Canada and get on the new post. It is so spring-y here

Andrew
Ps Jake have a drink for me mate , " and make it a srong one" Might warm you up a bit??? Oh ya the oka 's almost ready for the big crossing to London!
Hi everyone!
I have one big question. Me and 4 mates are going to
Australia in July and August. We' re landing in Melbourn
and driving up the east coast to Cairns. Now my question:
are 14 days enough for the distance between Cairns and
Darwin (we'll also go to see the Uluru mountain - app. 700
km)? We have to catch our plane in Darwin.
Thanks for the info and have a nice sunny day, Nina
thought it was you babe! hehe. Can't wait till July!
Anyway if someone really wants to be me I reckon that's
great cos then Flem#2 can do my job and I can just dance
and party every day!!!! Easy now, don't get overexcited,
just take a number and you'll be notified when it's your
turn to be Flem' hehehe!!
~
Jake, maybe you're right hehe, my birthday had an impact on
my short term memory. Actually, I don't remember having a
birthday? :-P Good to hear from ya again. Ditto on
that "topside" meeting, I'll come to London too!!
Tim - where in Sweden? Stockholm?
Andrew - I talked the 'roo into waking you haha!
-
See ya tomorrow - DJ Flem'
What a weekend!!!!! Phew! I'm tired just thinking about it.
Friday, 3 friends and I hung out together, drinking etc. It
was pretty cool. Saturday night, the same 3 friends plus
another person and I went to a bar that had $2 drinks until
midnight (!) and proceeded to get pissed. Unfortunately,
while we were at the station, a fight started and ruined the
whole night. Everyone was shouting at each other, everyone
ran off in opposite directions leaving me sitting by myself,
wondering what the fuck was going on. When we got home, the
fight continued for awhile then the crying started. Talk
about a drama.
So how was everyone else's weekend? Next week it's another
long weekend so that's an extra day to drink and dance and
do whatever else you feel like doing. :)
****
Sas-- how long are you going for? Is it just London?
****
Ad's-- I've lost your phone number! Oops! I'm not working
this week so I'll be home every night if you want to call
me.
****
One last thing, I'd just like to say that Geelong won on the
weekend in case you didn't know so up your bum to all those
people that said they'd find themselves on the bottom at the
beginning weeks of the season. Woohoo. ****We are Geelong,
the greatest team of all, we are Geelong, we're always on
the ball.****
Sorry Lucy But we did thrash the living day lights out of them & 70 odd points I believe!!!!! , top of the ladder too.
Got to Run be back later
Eagles long may they reign
Andrew
I just spent ages catching up on the goss cursing the
machine cos it was taking so long to load the page and here
you are posting away in another lounge.
Glad to see the party is still going strong and it was great
to read all your news.
Flem - I know it is late but Happy Belated Birthday to you
sweetie.
Lucy - how is it going in Sydney - I might be over that way
end at the end of May for a couple of weeks - Ill post here
before I leave.
Jase - where are you - I will try mailing you again - no
doubt you are comotosed (wrong spelling but you know what I
mean) in Amsterdam ;)
Sas -sorry for the delay but I have emailed you - it
explains all!
Anyhow, I am off for a pot in a little bar in Richmond
Melbourne - gee I love this place - I wonder if I can find
myself a nice Aussie guy to marry??
Take care and keep up the posts and the good vibe.
Hi to all the new joiners.
Love
Beth
-x-
Hi guys, hope everyone had a good weekend. I went down to
London to see some family. One of my friends has just jetted
off to Egypt for 15 days and I'm not going to see her 'til
mid Aug when I get back from trip, so I'm a bit sad
(aaahhhhhhh)
Andrew, I had a look at your website - nice piccies. sorry
about the crows.
Jake, hope the weather gets better soon, but when I lived in
Belfast it didn't stop raining or being cold for the 6 years
I was there, so I don't hold out much hope! Still It's
brighter down south I hear.
- only 12 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
You were out to midnight! How terribly rebellious of you!
Have a coca-cola on me the next time you decide to let your
hair down like that.
Before you start being a smartarse, maybe you should pull
your head in. I think Lucy meant that the $2 drinks stopped
at midnight you fuck, not her. Piss off.
And who says Coca-Cola?
Back me up the rest of you?
I'm sure you're right about the drink thing, but that was a
bit harsh don't you think. Lucy, glad you had a good one.
*
I know I'm just being ignorant about Aussie sport but what
are you talking about - Geelong and the Eagles. Let me know
See ya's later
Jo, I believe Andrew and Susan are talking about one of the
strangest sports known to mankind - Aussie Rules!! Imagine
36 players on a field kicking and hitting each other (and
occasionally the ball) - and you even get a point
for 'missing-but-almost-hitting-the-goal' hehe!! Like
vegemite it's very much an aquired taste!!
Beth - thanks babe!! Did ya find any guys?
~
It's soooo cold here at the moment and working again sucks.
Will Flem#2 show up soon so I can go back to Australia???
of course I meant Andrew and LUCY !!! sorry Lucy
(dunno why the name Susan was on my mind :)
I Know Flemming , Still Dreaming of romance in Austalia??? Snap out of it mate at least until Flem two gets there then get your arse back over here . Sorry mate there is no other answer for it The wild outback awaits your return!!
Andrew
in our new lounge today. Where is everybody? Is it the
music selection - please let me know if you want something
else than techno, house and drum 'n bass on the decks! :)
Morning all. I just stopped in to see if the Just a little..
page was still going and am elated to see that it still
is... sort of. I'm now back in the UK but fortunatly the
post travelling blues haven't set in yet. Hope everyone is
happy and well. Big love, Pabs
I just logged in to catch up and found nothing new. Maybe it
is the music, but have to say, i'm happy with the choice.
I am a bit nervous today as Man Utd are playing tonight and
it is a must win thing. So if you don't here from me
tomorrow they lost and i have gone into a deep depression.
Hope everyone is still alive .... somewhere.
Love to all, Joxx
(just one more thing, - only 10 days to go)
great to hear from you again!!! How long have you been
back? I'm also trying to keep that dreaded post-travel-
depression away - I find it especially hard when I'm at
work so I just hang around this post most of the time hehe!
~
Jo - glad you like my selection of tunes. Come on you reds!
later people, love - Flem'xxx
a little John Williamson Flem
Andrew
Being trying to email you flemming but for some reason I can receive but not send ??? Seems I have an Email up the shoot but cannot delet it or send it. I tell you the 303 is loaded!! Any one got any Ideas.
I can still post but Thank God for small mercies Ehhh.
Andrew
Good morning everyone. It is a bit slow around here
actually. Where are you Debs? Ad's? Sas?
I see John stuck up for me (do I know you?) when Paul got a
bit smart. Thanks :) I did mean it was the drinks that
stopped.
*#*#*#*#
Flemming- What else do you have in your collection? Are we
only allowed to hear techno etc. or can you put on something
that has words. Preferably words that aren't repeated over
and over again throughout the song.
*#*#*#*#
Beth- How are you babe? Give us the details woman. Tell us
your impressions and more importantly, what the action is
like. :)
*#*#*#*#
So, I realise that it's been ages since we had a friendly
debate of some kind so I've got a question for you guys to
answer. A friend of mine has just started a relationship
with this guy but she says she isn't going to tell him that
for 4 years she was with another woman. I think that she
should tell him because most likely he'll find out anyway
and also, if he cares that it was a woman then he isn't the
right guy. She says that because he's Italian he has strict
views on things. What the hell does that have to do with
anything? She's also Italian and she doesn't have a problem
with it. What do you guys think?
*#*#*#*#
Ad's- I sent you an email to your work, did you get it?
*#*#*#*#
Jo- You haven't said much about yourself yet. We are very
nosy around here so spill it. :) Yes, Andrew and I were
talking about AFL. It's a great game. And a good perve too.
*#*#*#*#
Andrew- So you are an Eagles supporter huh? I see our teams
are topping the ladder, both being undefeated. It's about
time Geelong had some good fortune.
Kisses and hugs to everyone.
Love Susan
Lucy - what can I say - so far very good:) I have been
staying with some friends I met while they were travelling
in Engand - I used to go out with the guy and then I met his
sisters and now I am sort of staying with him or at his
parents (very cosy!!). The people are great, the weather so
far has been quite good and the beer is very cold! I
haven't done much yet - just been relaxing. Been to Bells
Beach, St Kilda, MCG - to see Hawthorn be beaten by
Melbourne - very annoying as I was told to support Hawthorn!
oh and I have been up the Rialto tower - amazing views. I
will keep you posted if anything else happens.
Flem - no I have not met a man yet that feels the post of
marriage material - but I am keeping my eyes open;)
Andrew - have you put up any new pics on your site - what is
the address again?
Anyhow peps I am off shopping now. So I will speak to you
soon.
Take care
love
Beth

*************
sorry I've made a bit of a mess of this post!
Love Joxx
Last night I had a date with a girl from work who'd asked
me out to see a movie. There I am in front of the cinema
waiting. And waiting and waiting! And waiting. And she
never shows up!! So feeling slightly down I take the bus
home and decided I might as well do the 'footy' thing - sit
down with a beer and watch Man United beat Juventus.
Hmmmph, what a night :(
Jo - poor Schmeichel eh? 11 mins and he'd already been
passed twice!! Man Utd did a very nice comeback though!
Lucy - hey Underworld has words hehe! I'll vary my
selection a bit and include some garage and clubhouse - put
your hands up in the air! As to your question - I think she
should tell him now even though she believes he won't
understand. If she waits and he finds out anyway it'll be a
lot worse! Sorry for calling you Susan, my mind must have
been wandering a bit ;-P
Beth - keep looking and report back to us ;-)

Hi all...don't know if you remember me but I used to post
occasionally on the other thread and have been keeping up
with the goss every now and then so...just thought I'd drop
in say hello and I am leaving for Nepal on the 2nd May!!
Can't wait..!!!
Flem, Sorry about the date, or lack of. Is she nice or just
'okay'? have you seen her since at work and what excuse did
she give? Bitch, what's she playing at.
I'm feeling a bit precious today as I went out last night
and was more drunk than I realised. The people who were
there before us had been eating and had left full, and half
full bottles of wine. bloody cheap night. Then I had to bike
home which was quite fun!
Joxx
Back online again,Yes you can all email me and nowI can

Andrew
there you all are. Yippeee! I've been calling and calling
yoo hoo yoo hoooooooooo.
I went on hols and came back and you were all gone.
I'm so glad I found you all.
How is everyone?
Welcome to Oz Beth. Support Essendon and you might have
more luck. :-)
I hope Andrew comes back real soon.
I'll be in West Oz later in the year with the family and
we're looking for good places to camp out. I rekon he might
be the man to help me. :-).
His new look site is terific.
Flemming is that you with the snake.
Very tall. (you I mean Not the snake, well actually the
snake is long) Whats the go with the wounded mozzy? Ive
been reading about it everywhere.
I've got the travel bug really bad and I cant wait untill
the 17th of July when we head off to explore this fab
country.
Speaking of which It's ANZAC day. Lest we Forget.
Anyway catch up some more later. I was touched to see that
I was missed.
Love Debs.
Lucy, Andrew, Ads, Beth, Sas, Flem etc.
Oh there you all are. Hooray I've been calling and calling
but no-one answered.
Hello hello hello. big hugs all round.
I tried to post here earlier to day but my post seems to
have vanished into thin air. Poof.
Anyway Ive been on hols up the north coast for a few weeks
which was great. Weather was fab. Not so good down here in
the south though.
I've got the travel bug real bad.
*Andrew, love your site mate.
We are heading off with the family in July for at least 4
months and we are looking for places to camp away from
caravan parks etc (dont think I can handle hearing the
pensioner cough everymorning). I thought you might be the
man to help me with some suggestions.
I've been to the CALM site and printed some info about the
national parks camp sites.
Can you tell me if anyone can stay at the places you stay
at or do you need to get special permission. The old
homestead at Point Malcolm and Toolina Cove etc sound
really nice.
We are bringing a van so the road conditions may be an
issue too.
Anyway if you can help out I'd really appreciate it.
*Beth welcome to Oz mate. If you support Essendon you may
have more luck. I have a feeling they are going to have a
great year this year. ( I have that feeling every year by
the way But this year I think it's different. Come to think
of it I say that every year too. Ever the optimist Debs).
Melbourne is a fantastic city at Footy time.
(sings) I'm high on the hill looking over the bridge to the
MCGeeeeeee.
and out on the right the clock on the silo says 11
degreeeeeees.
I remember.
Sorry I digress.
*Flem, Is that you with the snake. Very tall. (you I mean
not the snake. hehe).
Whats all this about wounded mozzy's? I'm reading about
them everywhere.
I think it was a sensible idea to start a new post. the
only problem I have is that It's hard to find amongst all
the others. (It used to be easy, just hit end and scroll up
three and you were there.)
Anyways not too high a price to pay I guess. At least you
dont have to wait 20 minutes for it to load. (although this
post I'm typing is so long you might).
I missed you all and I was touched to see that some of you
missed me back.
Ill see you all soon I hope.
Oh by the way its ANZAC day so Lest we forget.
:-)
love and kisses Debs.
Going On?
I keep posting and they dissapear. :-(
I dont understand. I've been a very good girl. (sure).
what have I done to deserve this?
Debs the tracks to Toolina Cove, point culver and Point
Malcom, Isrealite Bay Are strictly 4x4 Stuff if you saw the
picture of the Oka going through that water!!, They are all
basicly like that and you need to beable to drive about
100km on the beach Email me you Email address and tell me
roughly where you would like to see and i will see what I
can come up with.
Gee this is good being able to post again Ehh!!.
Love to all Andrew
I was busy posting away and every time i checked my posts
hadn't appeared. I was getting very very frustrated and i
thought that maybe I was never going to get to speak to you
guys again Then suddenly right before my eyes they pop up,
5 hours later i might add, with a response from Andrew. Go
figure. Actually I'm probably wasting my time typing all
this stuff too. It probably wont appear for three days!!
Anyway thanks Andrew. We have a Pajero and a couple of
three man tents and hope to get some camping as well as
caravaning in. When i think of some more questions I'll
email ya. K?
Sorry about the multiple posts. How embarrasing. :-)
Hi All! With all this talk of Football I thought I should
mention that it is "Stanley Cup" time in Canada-high times
for hockey fans. Go Sens!
Andrew (and Flemming), I just had a look at your web-site.
It just made me want to return to OZ more than ever. I
lived in Melbourne when I was there and travelled up the
East coast. I spent a bit of time around Darwin and then
came down thru Alice. I had to save the west coast for my
next trip which has been long overdue.
I just found out that my friend from Corowa is coming to
Canada. Should be fun. Maybe I'll get to see a bit more of
my own country. Bye Bye!

hey everybody!! Oh bloody hell why do weekends always go so
fast? Seems like it was Friday two seconds ago and it's
already Monday morning and work again :(
It was a pretty cool weekend in the company of great
friends and great beer. I didn't go out (I know you must be
shocked). I'm saving my strength for next weekend where we
will party all of Saturday!!
*~*
Debs - Welcome back babe!! We've missed ya heaps!! I don't
know if Andrew mailed you my snake piccy - but I'm not on
Andrew's webpage (yet). That "mozzy" quote is from a
hilarious Monty Python sketch - and a couple of times on
Andrew's trip we were really being eaten alive, fighting a
loosing battle armed only with Aerogard hehe!!
Pobbit - you definitely have to see the West Coast!!!
Jo - apparently my date got stuck in a non-moving train for
45 mins. So she's forgiven and we're going out again
tonight...
Anyway I have to pretend to work a bit...see ya! love, Flem'
-
PS. It's been 10 days and still no sign of Flem#2 ???
...my last day at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend - although Flem you're
right, they go far too quickly. I went out on Friday with a
couple of lad friends and had what can only be described as
an 'odd' night. Still I woke up with yet another headache so
it must have been fun.
My bike is well and truly in a critical condition
after Thursday's drink and ride. I seem to have messed up
the gears and brakes in such a way that it is completely
unusable. I will have to take it to be looked at, but I
think survival chances are minimal.
Yesterday I went for a pub lunch with some mates - you can't
beat roast beef and yorkshire pudding in your local can you?
Flem I hope you are working hard at whatever it is you do,
I'm not 'cos like I said it's my last day, last day, last
day........
My manager has made me some lovely chocolate bicuity cake
thing, so I'm stuffing my face with that, hanging round here
and emailing people. What a life.
Love to you all
Joxxx
and don't forget to pop in once in a while and tell us all
the good goss! We love that hehe!!!
Ehh Flem,Boy am I hungry, all that talk of Roast Beef &
Yorkshire Pudding Yummy!!!!!!!!!!
Well we just had a long weekend here for Anzac Day but
where has it gone 7.15pm monday night already I cannot
believe it. Is it just me or is this year just going fast
to where all the others have gone? May coming up and winter
will soon be upon us oh well we need the rain!!.
Hey Debs talking of Anzac day, there is getting fewer and
fewer old diggers left I just hope that we dont forget what
Anzac day is all about and it dosent just fade away to the
history books!. Lets also hope that all these conflicts
that are going on around the world at this moment all end
very soon before we end up with another world war on our
hands.
Hey thats enough of this depressing stuff , Flemming the
Whales are starting to run down along the Aussie Bight can
not wait to get back down !! roll on May 7 .
Jo have a great time Ehh , has any one haerd from Sas.
Okay see you all tomorrow
Luvvv
Andrew
Then who is the guy with the snake in Andrew's gallery?
Is there more than one Snake man of Bilbunya?
Well the Bombers had another win although it was a bit too
close for my liking.
Andrew I'll be in Perth when the Grand Final is on so if
it's a Bombers/Eagles affair we may have to meet up and
watch it together. Yeah I'd like to see all those Eagles
fans faces when Essendon exact their revenge for that
wolloping last week.
Enough of that.
Where are the girls Lucy, Beth and Sas?
Do any of you guys go to the TTYC? Some very strange things
have been happening in there lately. Lots of hate and bad
feeling.
It's much nicer in here where everyone knows your name.
Anyway i suppose I should go and do some work.
Seeya Later
Love Debs.
Hi guys!
Nice to hear from you Debs! And you too Ava!
I can't believe I actually wished this weekend to be over
but I just couldn't take it anymore. Too much eating,
drinking and smoking is bad for me. But it was a lot of fun
although I'm regreting some of my actions, especially the
ones involving that guy I was having problems with awhile
ago. Remember? But that's life I guess. :-)
xoxoxox
Ad's- I haven't got your number anymore so I can't call you.
I've been sending you emails but you haven't been responding
so I'm wondering if you got them or not.
xoxoxox
Flemming- Sorry about that chick not showing up. What a
bugger. Have you spoken to her yet? Actually I can handle
Underworld, especially Born Slippy. Do you like Fat Boy
Slim?
xoxoxox
Andrew- Once again, the Cats and the Eagles prove that they
are the best two teams in the comp. Undefeated and 1 & 2 on
the ladder. Woohoo!!
xoxoxox
Jo- Where exactly are you going to?
xoxoxox
Love to you all
Lucy goosy
When did you guys all meet?
Beth where are the best night spots in Melbourne, me and my mate have been here a couple of weeks and haven't been out in the city much, mainly doing trips to Phillip Island etc. Oh and if you find any nice men please send them our way.
Hi guys...So how's it all going????I'm fine afriend from
Brighton came to Oz on saturday so managed to get completely
wasted....WOO HOO..Thank god for long weekends though...Not
sure where Sas is at the mo but I'm sure she's
fine....Probably amusing herself with a barman or two if I
know her..Lucy give me a call on my mobile...0413
570760...I haven't been getting your emails babe..Claire as
for Melbourne clubs...U tried The Chevron on a saturday
night...Good tunes..the only trouble is the men are mostly
gay so I doubt you'll pull there...I've heard Heat at the
casino is supposed to be alright...Or there is one in St
kilda but I can't remember the name...Anyway gotta
run........
G-Day guys how is every one today?, Debs the picture on the
web page is of a Young guy called Rick Who came on the trip
I took flemming on and the other guy with a big grin on his
face is his dad Terry. Still waiting for flem to get his
slide turned into a print so he can scan it and put it up .
I think he needs a bit of a push, come to think of it maybe
a bloody big push !! Come on Flem your fans are waiting??.
Rick got the name snakeman because there was no way known
in this world he was going to hold that snake!, but the
picture speakes for its self Ehh and all he could say after
that was " see that piece of rope or see that and this It
reminds me of the time I held a snake" .he went on like
that for most of the rest of the trip, come to think of it
he always semmed to be like that but he was a great kid
with a great sence of humour . He kept taking off that Guy
David strasman " I think thats how you spell his surname"
you no the one with the pupets Teddy Bear & Chuck, and did
a good job of it as well. You always have one on a trip, I
think I had quite a few comedians on that trip.Ads good to
here your voice again dont leave it so long we think you
have got lost or drowned in a vat of wiskey or something
terrible like that!! Debs I know the Eagles are on top at
the moment but it is going to be interesting to see if they
can stay there. I realy dont mind who wins a game as long
as it is a good & fair game, the best ones are when it is
nice a close only a few pionts in it Ehh. Lucy how are you
going sweetie?? take it easy on your self the body can only
take so much you know. ps I told you what to do with that
guy he's not worth it, find a decent bloke should be easy
for a great girl like you!! Okay gotto go
Luv to all
Andrew

*

cos this ain't what it used to be...
sasso
xxx
Was that a thinly veiled attempt at saying that if it's a
close game its a good game but if you win by 70 odd points
(I cant remember the exact figure, I tried to block it out
of my nind instantly) it isn't so good to watch. Well I
agree thats true exept when its the team you support
winning.*lol*
Wait till September boyo then well see whose happy. (only
kidding)
Your friend Rick the Snake man posted on the tree the other
day recommending your comapany. I invited him to come to
the J.A.L.H. #2 but I see he hasn't shown up yet.
I'm feeling lousy at the moment. I think I caught a cold
from one of the guys in the TTYC
I've got Dr Norton for computer viruses but he didn't
protect me from the human one.
* Welcome Claire, wev'e been meeting here for a long time,
some sinse September last year. The orriginal Just a little
hello has nearly 1300 posts on it. Some kind of record huh.
It got too long to load so by general concensus it was
decided to begin a new one.
I hope you have a great time in Melbourne.
*Flemming- Get busy and get that slide scanned. (Andrew was
that enough pressure or should I include a threat?)
*Lucy- take care of those braincells sweetie. You may find
they'll come in handy later. *lol*
Ad's- Welcome back mate. As you can see we are all still
here. Keep visiting you make me laugh.
Sas- 6 weeks matey. Cool then you'll have enough to keep
you excited.
Jo and Pobbit where did you go?
Oh and by the way Flem I love monty python cant believe I
didn't remember that one.
Seeyas
Debs. XXXX
my own computer! This was so much easier when I was working,
but its still worth the effort to come in to the wonderful
Global Gossip (Claire if you need somewhere cheap to email
from this is quite a good place - just up from the big
shopping centre on Elizabeth Street) and see what you lot
have been up to:)
Sas - I have emailed you those numbers honey - don't know
what happended to your last mail lost in virtual space
somewhere. As for Jase, I have just emailed him - I haven't
heard from him since he left London - but I gave him
directions to the new lounge so hopefully he will drop in
soon.
Lucy - forget that guy as Andrew said he is not worth it -
come to Melbourne and we can go hunting together;)
Claire - I haven't found any decent clubs as yet - the
people Iam staying with are all couples and not really into
the scene - last weekend we were supposed to be going to
Twister in St Kilda (maybe its the one mentioned in an
earlier post??) but that fell through as two of the group
had food poisioning (spelling??)from a Spanish restaurant
we had been to the night before and spent the eve throwing
up (probably a bit more info than needed but what the
hell!:) Where are you staying in Melbourne and how long are
you here for? I am in Richmond - really nice area but quite
quiet.
Jo - so you are off to Manchester for Uni - I was there -
well at the Manchester Met - you will have a ball - try
Sanky Soaps if it is still going it was one hell of a club
in my day!! - which was a couple of years back now granted
but it was one of the places to go as a student - and try
the curry mile - its a whole street full of Indian
Restaurants (can't remember the name of the street, its just
known as the Curry Mile :)
Flem - don't be shy with those pics - I still have the ones
you sent me so if you don't get them posted I could
always..... (oh go on then give me $200 and I will forget
all about them!)
Speak to you soon
Love and hugs
Beth
-x-
I'm staying in Essendon at the mo with my mate Vicky, hello from mate! It's about 20-25 minutes on the tram to the city, quite a nice area with a nice Irish pub down the road, which is where we went last night so i'm suffering from nasty hangover at the moment, me too ( this is Vicky by the way). Thanks for the info will ask around, we tried Heat at the casino which was OK a bit cheesy though.
Looking forward to the weekend, we are working at the moment and its sooo boring, we have no work to do.
Hope everyone is having a good day wherever you are.
Take care
Claire
DEBS I mean it ! I dont care who's playing or winning as
long as it is a good close game, lets face it you dont like
sitting down to watch a game when its all one sided even if
it is your team thats winning !! no point it becomes a fore
gone conclusion you loose interest and go and do something
else. But if its real close game you will sit there on the
edge of your chair bitting your nails and screaming
Ehh!!!!!!!. By the way Debs I think Flemming needs to be
threatened ! a lot?? Talking of Flemming He emailed me and
said he was having withdrawals , as he can not seem to get
in to post???.Beth you have my email send me the photo's of
Flemming.
Sas i have not been into Steaky Bay, have driven past a few
times and when Was younger!! come to think of it a lot,lot
younger Like about 14 I went out with a girl from Steaky
bay. Lucy have you dumped this guy yet or do you want me to
come over and sort things out for you!! a few of the others
would probable come and lend a hand as well if you like?.
Okay i will come back later and we can chew the fat a bit
more then.
Love to all
Andrew
G-day guys, hope the heads does not hurt to much? Just turn
the volume down it helps!!
Have a great day
Love Andrew
I drove in Melbourne for the first time yesterday - very
wierd experience considering I have not been behind the
wheel for 6 mths - still trying to understand why people go
in to the left lane to turn right - very confusing!
Anyhow just thought I would share that with you.
Andrew I will send the photos to you if that is okay with
our dear friend DJ Flem. Having a bit of trouble with
email but will try to do it soon.
Love
Beth

fear and surprise, surprise and fear and ...nice red
uniforms! Oh damn, I'll come in again!" - like you Debs I
love the Monty Python lads and if ya get me started I'll do
Python jokes all day.
~
So we did the movie date again Monday - and this time she
showed up. Had a great time but she's just ...not my type
(you know what I mean sometimes you're just not attracted).
We'll see what happens...
'
People be patient - I will scan my slide snake piccy, but I
don't have a slide scanner so it'll take a bit of time.
Andrew's right Rick is the real Snakeman (cos there can be
only one or something like that!).
-
Lucy, yeah I like Fat Boy Slim saw him live last year which
was heaps of fun. Underworld are fab, they played here in
Copenhagen while I were down under so I missed them. Do you
like Daft Punk?
Sas babe, thanks for that great update on the other old
skoolers. I believe Marty is still frolicking around Canada
with her Kiwi boy. I agree, we need that funky party mood
back in the lounge so today I'm doing a French day with
Cassius, Air, Daft Punk etc!!
gotta run, love from DJ Flem' -o-
Salutations,
Andrew, can you post the address of your site, I'd love to
have a wee peek. I'm sure it's back earlier in the post
somewhere but I'm a lazy bastard!
Sas; I was in Texas for work reasons for a month or so and
that kept me quiet for a while. I'm off to Arizona soon for
another stint, approx 3 months, so I might be a bit scarce
again. I'll pop in for a quick read when I get access and
time. Life is a bit hectic at the minute. The house is
finally finished and I moved in. I hope to be back home in
summer so I can make the London bash. Good to see the old
timers showing up for roll call now and then. Where's
Hayley? Nice to see Ava back in the picture. Does'nt it give
you a warm fuzzy feeling to see people drop in who have'nt
been around for a while but who have not forgotton the crew?
Have to go, keep up the flow.
jake
Dont tell every one Though http://vianet.net.au/~bolstaor/
Boy are you getting around mate are we going to see you in
West Oz ?
Andrew
Hi Everybody!! Just popping in to say hi and that I still
exist ... I'm back in Copenhagen and life is rosy ... the
Amsterdam thang didn't work out - couldn't find
appropriate work and invested all my savings on drugs ... so
then it was a quick trip through Belgium and then back to
the land of the beautiful people ... Haven't had much of a
chance to get internet access as I generally work 14 hour
days as a brickie's labourer, and when I finish I'm usually
too exhausted to even think or talk or shag or DIY even ...
Anyway crew, hope life is giving you a buzz with a capital Z
... C U's layta.
PS Betho, Ill email U soon :-)
PPS great fucking idea with the new thread Captain Flemster.
PPPS Is this the most postscripts ever?
It was a bit quiet in here to start off with. You know just
one or two posts a day but today Wow 8 to read and two from
very old friends. Hi Jake and Jase good to hear from you
guys. The house is finished Yay.
Flem- Whats you favourite colour? Red no Blue Ahhhhhhh.
Andrew- Yes I agree theres nothing worse than a one sided
game except when the losing team makes a comeback. Did you
see that great game two weeks ago Sydney V North Melbourne.
How exciting was that? oh and by the way where is Steaky
Bay *lol*
Beth- That left hand lane to turn right thing. Whats IS
that all about? I always hand over the wheel to someone
else before I get to the trams. Or else park the car and
get on one.
Well I'm going to see Frenzal Rhomb at ANU next week.
Taking a couple of 15 year olds who need adult supervision.
What do you reckon in the pit or out? *lol* That Crowd
surfing thing looks like heaps of fun, until you get
dropped on your head that is.
Anyway glad to see the crowd begin to swell.
Seeyas later
Love Debs
So many posts for me to read this morning. That's what I like
to see guys!!! It's finally sunny in Sydney after the worst
weather I can remember. I feel sorry for all those people
whose houses and roofs were damamged in the hail storms the
other week because now when it rains, there house gets
soaked. The day after the storm I was walking to uni through
Redfern and I was amazed at the damage done to some of the
cars. It looked like someone had picked up a hammer and
pounded little dents all over.
Anyway... nice to hear from Jake and Jase and that they
haven't forgotten about us little people on the web.
Flemm- Daft Punk is not really my thing but some of my
friends are really into it so I know some of their stuff. If
you'd asked me about a year ago if I thought I'd be
listening to that kind of music I would have laughed! It's
funny how your friends tastes can influence you so much.
Beth- I'm so jealous that you are in Melbourne! I think it's
one of the best cities in the world although being from
there might make me a little biased.
Andrew- Nope, I'm still seeing that guy but it's not a
"thing" if you know what I mean. We aren't together but
nearly everytime I see him,something happens. I know it's
not going to lead anywhere so it's a waste of time but I
can't help it. My friend is always saying, you deserve
better blah blah blah. I know I do but...
Debs- The closest I ever got to a moshpit was at a Reef
concert a few years ago. Judging from the bruises I had from
just standing next to it, I wouldn't recommend going in.
Unless the idea of being elbowed, kicked, spat and pulled
from every direction appeals to you. Hehe.
Well, Geelong play the Hawks this weekend and apparently
it's on TV in Sydney. Guess I know what I'll be doing that
day!
Everyone have a great weekend! I'm helping a friend move so
tonight we are having a celebration since it's her last
night in her house. Should be a goodie.
Love you all
Lucy
I can't believe I am finally going tomorrow. Thanks guys
for welcoming me into your cosy lounge. I've enjoyed
hanging around and relaxing here. I'm sure I'll pop in once
in a while to let you know what/how I'm doing.
(Lucy, I am off to LA, Cook Islands, Fiji, NZ, Oz - Sydney
to Cairns and Darwin, so hope the weather is better for
good now in Syd, and then to Bali)
Beth - thanks for your info on Manchester. Ive already
experienced a curry on the 'curry mile' - i still don't
think people know what the road is called. I can honestly
say it was the best I've ever had, and I have had quite a
few - still talking about curry (by the way). Where did you
live when you were there?
Flem - maybe you could play somethinbg to put me in the
holiday mood - I expect 'we're all going on a summer
holiday' is out of the question but something that I can
sing along to would be great.
Andrew - unfortunately we're not heading west on our tour
of Oz, so here's lots of kisses for Perth xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
(that is where you live isn't it?)
I am now going out to get absolutely slaughtered with all
my friends, one of whom has been assigned to stay sober and
make sure I get home safely. Apparently I am going to need
it......
anyway, pls email me to say hi, and I'm sure I'll be back
soon with lots of interesting stories.
Bye
Lots Of love
Joxxxxx
You are going to be missing the best part of OZ, still you
can save it up for next time. Look all of Australia is
great! I do a fair bit of travelling through the West I can
not make my mind up which part I like best " yes I have my
favourite spots " but each place has a beauty of its own
whether it be North or South ,desert country or the coastal
plains. Have a great time over here mate where ever you
go,Oh and yes I am in the Perth Area , up in the hills in
the Darling ranges.
Debs Streaky Bay is in South Australia , if you were
coming across the Nularbour from the west you would come to
a place called Ceduna. Streaky Bay is East of there about
110 km down the Flinders Hwy . Should be easy for you to
find on a map. Sorry I missed the game between Sydney and
North Melbourne been very busy, the same this weekend too
probably will not get to see the Eagles game either. Who in
the hell are Frenzal Rhomb?? ( showing my age now).
Lucy glad the weather is picking up a bit in Sydney Ehh!!
And NO BUTS YOU DO DESERVE BETTER BLA BLA BLA AND MORE
BLA. Good luck with Geelong this week mate !!!!.
Gee the Flemmaster has gone a little bit Quiet this week
must have been the roasting we gave him over ther snake
picture or lack of it.
The Oka busses are calling!! still working under them at
the moment making sure everthing is a okay . so talk a bit
later and have a fantastic weekend ,some of you have got a
long weekend thats right isnt it??
Luv to all
Andrew
I know where Streaky bay is but where is Steaky bay? *lol*
(go back and read the post to Sas and youll see what I
mean.) Frenzal Rhomb area a very punk band out of Newtown.
You may have heard Oh m'gord mum changed the locks. Oy!
Anyway I only know them cause theres a 15 year old in da
house who likes to drag me along.
Have a great weekend everyone. Carn the Bombers.
Debs I just think Ill go back under the Oka!!
Andrew
....for the web addie. I've sent you a quick email. The site
is excellent, and I see young Flemmington looks after it for
you! What a guy. When (if?) I eventually make it to Western
Oz I'll look you up.
Hey Jase, good to see you back, dont overdo it with those
bricks mate. Debs and luscious Luce, thanks for the welcome
back. Have'nt had much access to the net for a while there
as I was moving about a bit.
Thanks sas and flem for the updates on the crew members.
Sounds like scoobs and marty are having a ball, more power
to them. Beth, you seem to be doing pretty good yourself!
Gotta go.
Increase the peace,
Jake
Yes, it's the 1st of May here which is a special 'workers
day' for us so we will party, we will celebrate and we will
drink and act crazy all day long!!!!! (so it's like any
other day in Copenhagen really haha)
I was absent for a few days, we got hit by the Melissa
virus at work so we were in emergency mode all of Thursday.
Virus killing is tough and dangerous but I survived the
mission! Our email didn't though so Andrew and everybody
else, ya have to use my yahoo address for a few days.
~
Hey any of you Brits going to the Homelands thing the 29th
of May in Hampshire? It's the lineup of the century with
Chemical Bros, Underworld, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Paul
Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Pete Tong and tons of others. My
friends and me desperately wants to go!!!!!
Jase - Great to hear from you again! where about are you in
Copenhagen? Are you going to 'Fµlledparken' today? And do
ya still have any of those drugs you bought left? ;-)
Jo - I'll play Madonna's Holiday for you!! I happen to love
the Material Girl! Have an absolutely fabulous trip!!!!
Jake - glad you liked Andrew's site. It's nothing flash but
does the job I guess!
Debs - prepare the holy handgrenade! haha! Do you remember
the "Bruce" skit about Australia? "Is your name not Bruce
then? No it's Michael! hmmm mind if we call ya Bruce?"
*
gotta go party now, have a faaaantastic weekend everyone!!
Flem' xoxox
So, I've finally realised what a complete waste of time it
was with that guy. And yes I'm serious this time! I had a
very very hard and heavy night last night and I still
haven't been to bed. I really want to sleep but for some
reason something is keeping me wide awake. I'm sure you guys
can figure out what that is.
Anyway, I'd just like to announce that I am never touching
him again and it's all over red rover. And he can get fucked
for all I care. Ahhhhh..... now I feel better. :-)
****
How was everyone's weekend?
Geelong lost. Boo hoo hoo! :-(
Good onya Lucy now you can find some one decent!! Geelong
lost mate but it was a good Game Eales won but it was just
all onesided and was not a contest Borring!!! Okay I am
going to bed now . I also had a late night last night
around at the ladies place I told you guys about a while
ago or was that an early morning 1.30 am came in and was up
again by 5am have to be up early in the morning so love to
all! and have a good sleep Lucy love it will be all alright
you'll see.
Andrew
you that it is somebody's birthday on Friday - hum I wonder
who's that could be????
Jase - if you don't email me soon I will cry.
Lucy - get over here and help me find some men.
Jo - happy travelling! I lived just off Oxford Road in the
Student Village (massive warehouse conversion opposite the
BBC) I loved it in Manchester apart from the IRA bomb that
went off on my last day and had us all evacuated from our
rooms with storming hangovers!
Andrew - I have checked the photos I have of Flem and you
sent them to me! I will send them back hopefully today.
Sas - when are you off honey - good luck with the numbers I
gave you.
Ads - where abouts are you at the moment? Are you still in
Oz?
Anyhow toodle pip for now
Love
Beth

Soooooooooo. You guys started a new branch. I wonder if
L.P. are gonna delete the old one? I put up a couple of
posts around the 1080 mark but then sas said something
really rude and i was only trying to be friendly with a
little joke and so I had to go off and cry into my pillow
or my mum's jumper for three months. I am back just to see
how everyone is and to say that it is actually sunny in
Britain today. Yes, I know hard to believe but true. Anyway
just thought I'd write to say ill be in Oz for Nov 1999 and
see you all for a knees up in Sydney. Ill be the one
dancing at the top of the harbour bridge to oh god i dunno.
Probably that bloody prince song or Robbie Williams or
something. Who cares? Itll be the best Party the world has
ever seen. Take it easy all of you.
Chris B.
Ho hum. I have a lunch date today with this guy I met at Uni
last week but I'm not too sure about it. I only met him 2
weeks ago and already he's telling me how much he likes me
which I think is weird. Anyway, all my friends are pushing
me to go for it so I can forget about the other guy,
commonly known as "Dickhead". The thing is, if I decide I
just want to be friends with him then everyone is going to
think that I'm still waiting for Dickhead when that's not it
at all. But maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself.
Beth- I'd love to come to Melbourne honey to hunt men with
you. If only I could afford the time to come down. Aren't
you coming up here at some point?
*****
Toodles
Hooray-Hooray-It's 30 degrees in Ottawa today!! You all
have no idea what a big deal spring is to me; just
surviving the winter is a major feat.
An old flame of mine is moving here from Nova Scotia. I
haven't seen him in 5 years, but I'll be seeing him now as
he's moving in with a friend of mine. I wonder what could
develop.
I hope everyone is having a great week!
Hi Lucy, I posted another message for youon the other post.
Silly me, but I hope your forehead feels better even though
I don't know you.
What happened to your forhead mate?
There are still a few people posting on the other thread.
hehe.
Pobbit- I cant imagine how cold it gets in your part of the
world. I tend to hibernate in doors for the whole of winter
here and we only get down to zero - 10 or sometimes 15
degrees. When I hear of temperatures of -30 deg I cant
imagine how you carry on with your lives.
The only good thing about winter is the footy. Heard the
bombers song agian on the weekend. Keep on singing boys.
Your in Fine voice. Is It okay for someone old enough to be
his Aunty to drool over Matthew Lloyd? hmmmmm yum!
Andrew- when you posted your response to Sas about Streaky
bay you called it Steaky Bay and I was imagineing all these
steaks and I cracked up. How are the OKA's and more
importantly How's your friend up the road?
Flem- Yoo hooo where are you?
Beth- Take care sweetie.
See you all later.
Debs XoXoXo
Flem - Unfortunatley because I am in Melbourne its a no no, but a lot of my mates are going who went last year too, its about 30 minutes from where I live in the UK and i'm gutted I won't be there, still enjoying myself here but have been ill for a few days.
Beth - Hope you are still enjoying yourself, found a nice man yet? We will be in Richmond this Friday to watch the footy, meeting at the London Tavern, do you know it?
Hope everyone had a nice weekend, take care.
Claire & Vick
Hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was not to bad
although I have been burning the candels at both ends of
late. Debs things seem to be progressing up the road , both
of us are just feeling our way I think Kelley has had a bit
of a hard life her Defacto used to beat her something
cruel, so you can imagine she is a little bit timid and do
not blame her.Myself a bit reluctant to enter into another
relationship as well, so steady as she goes as they say but
we seem to enjoy each others company and have the same
interests, camping, footy, birds of the feathered kind, music
etc...
So a few late nights have been had or should I say early
mornings. The second Oka is getting there, found a bit of
rust the other day so busy cutting that out, you tend to
get a bit of rust when you do a lot of beach work, but you
get that.Did not see the steaky in stead of streaky Eh !!
mind you have had a lot of bouble vision by the time I get
to sit down in front of this monster .
Okay got to go will post more a bit later.
love to all
Andrew
I'm not sure why someone though I had a sore forehead. Maybe
they read the other thread or something. Ages ago I
headbutted the ground but at this moment, my forehead is
fine and dandy.
I just got off most packed train in the history of trains.
It felt like New Year's! It was so stuffy and hot that
couldn't wait to get off, I was even thinking about getting
off at the stop before mine just so I could breathe again.
Yukko!
****
Andrew- That's a shame that your new woman has had a bad run
of things with men but I'm sure, seeing you are such a nice
guy, that everything will be fine. May the force be with
you.
****
Beth- When I was in the UK last year I went to Manchester
for the weekend to stay with a friend. It rained the whole
time but I hear that's not unusual :-) Where abouts are you
staying in Melbourne again?
****
Debs- Nice to talk to you on Your Choice. Hehe. We just pop
up in all kinds of places.
****
Hi to Sas, Crisbrown, Claire, Pobbit, Flemm, Jake and anyone
else I've missed. And to Ad's, I left a message on your
phone. Did you get it? Boo hoo hoo.
cos DJ Flem' and DJ Sas will be taking over your city very
shortly!! Yep, me and Sas will wreck havoc on London a week
or two this summer! I'm so excited and can't wait - and we
are thinking about organizing the London TT get together
thing!! Who will come?
~
Our 1st of May celebrations lasted around 15 hours -
meaning 15 hours of drinking and smoking some of nature's
finer stuff and acting crazy. You gotta love the 1st of May
here, it's supposed to be a day for the 'union workers' -
but nobody cares, we just wanna party! The "Fµlled" park
was filled with 50.000 people and the sun was shining all
day! What a day! What a hangover Sunday hehe!
~
Claire - It looks like I probably will be going to
Homelands!! Have you been to Creamfields?
Love you all - but I have to go, have to work a bit
more.....see ya...Flem' xoxoxox
You reminded me of a Led Zep song.
Walking in the park just the other day baby
Wha What do you think I saw
Crowds of people sitting on the grass with flowers in their
hair saying
Hey boy do you wanna score
I really dont know what time it was
So I asked them if I could stay a while.
woo ooo ooh.
.
Sounds like you had a similar kind of day. *lol*
.
Andrew you keep cracking me up mate. I just got over the
Steaky bay and now you've got bouble vision.
Take good care of the lady. It's good to find someone who
shares common interests. That way you always have something
to talk about.
Good luck with the boy Pobbit.
Hi to everyone else.
Seeya
Love Debs. ÷┐÷
Flem- no I was in Holland for 9 months last year and missed it, thats the one in Winchester yeah.
Lucy- it doesn't always rain in the UK! The weather is pretty much the same as Melbourne ( maybe a bit cooler ).
Hello to everyone else, hope you are enjoying your day.
Hey guys! I just went shopping with my parents and I scored
big time. I got a pair of pants and a really cool fleecy
jacket! I love shopping with my parents. :)
@#@#@#
Claire- I wasn't saying that it rains all the time in the
UK. Actually, in the month I was there it only rained twice
in London. I was saying that when I was in Manchester it
rained the whole time and the girl I was staying with told
me that Manchester has very high rainfull. Believe me, I
wasn't knocking the country!
*^^*^^*
Flemming- You and Sas in London? You better prepare the
people for that, you don't want to scare anyone. Hehe. Just
kidding, I'm sure you guys will have a fantastic time.
%$%$%$
Bye for now
It's good to see that everybody is staying in touch and
keeping the good vibe going. I don't get much time to post
these days, (the world needs saving from the drug scurge ha
ah as if)but I will try a little harder to at least keep in
contact. Besides work being hell busy, life has been fine
and great. Winter is bitter sweet to me though. not good
biking weather, but prices of new bikes drop, so let's go
shopping!
long time no hear, welcome back mate! How's Perth at the
moment? God I miss it!!!!
Besides London Sas and I plan to go Bristol to track down
Massive Attack. Should we bump into Tricky or Portishead as
well that wouldn't be too bad :)
Debs - Like the song but I don't know it - could you sing
it again ;-P
work...busy...gotta run...see ya!

being their at the same time and together!!!! How in the

Oh my lord so some of you are coming to London. I hope you both like it here. The weather is tops at the moment although coz I work in a dept. store im sweating like an eskimo in the sahara. No air con. Still, I like to think of it positively as acclimatising myself for S.E. Asia and Oz. See all you Sydneysiders soon I guess. I have a joke for you all. Did you know that the 4th of May is the official world Star wars day? You know.............May the 4th be with you. Hahahahaha...........laters.

Heres a song for You mate.
Immanuel Kant was a real piss ant who ws very rarley stable
Heideggar Heideggar was a boozy beggar, he could think you
under the table,
David Hume could outconsume William Fredrich Hegel.
Whittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as sloshed as
Schlegal.
theres nothing Nieizche could teach ya bout the raising of
the wirist.
Socrates himself was permanently pissed.
John Stewart Mill of his own free will, after half a pint
of shanty was particularly ill.
Aristotle Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle
and Hobbes was fond of his dram,
And Renes Descart was a drnken fart I THINK THEREFORE I AM
and Socrates is himself is particularly missed;
A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed.
*lol*
I thought you'd enjoy that one.
Seeya all later.
what kind of bike are you looking for Andrew? I'm kinda
looking at a Yamy XJR 1300. Retro looks with loads of
grunt. My current day to day ride is a Kawa Zephyr 750, but
I have found that when I'm on longer rides passing those
long roadtrains with a fully loaded bike can be a problem.
Gotta plan it just a little too much! I like the retro
naked bikes cause I can see the working bits, nothing worse
than having to spend an hour on the side of the road taking
off faring, just to check the plugs! anyway enough bike
stuff, I'm proberbly boring people stupid. Perth has been
overcast for the last few days, I think that winter is
here, nothing but rain forecast for the next few days.
Friday! thank god. This is the last weekend I will get for
a few weeks cause we are doing volunteer training for the
next two weeks. Work 21 days straight, yuk!
Beth..if its YOU i hope you have a great birthday in
Australia!
stay young and happy,
sas

If you give me half the chance.
Hippy-free love, outtasight! I'm gonna turn off every light
And hold a private dance.
It started out one afternoon, hot sake in my living room
Among some special friends.

While I am sitting here chewing on my ham and cheese sarnies I thought I would write a post but at the same time enquire of all the Australian aficiondos of this column whether it is possible to get a tax file number abroad and also whats the best bank to go for? I would really appreciate any response and in turn would have a chat to my mates 3D, mushroom and daddy g to possibly arrange a meeting with Flemming and sas. Well, Ill try anyway. God I cant wait to get going.
Cheers and beers
Chrispy
P.S. A belated Happy Birthday Beth wherever you are. How old now?
P.P.S. Has anyone noticed the complete lack of flames? Excellent.
I got this from Hayley on My Birthday so I think its only
fair that I pass it on....I hope you get the best seat on
the bus, the hottest coffee to start your day, donuts for
morning tea, a very fat tasty sandwich for lunch,
a lift home from work, sex on the kitchen table, oysters
and salmon for dinner, chocolate mud cake for dessert,
phone calls from around the globe, lots of great presents
(including new perfume, have a hot
bubbly bath sipping champagne and then sleep like a baby.
Have a good one...
P.S Lucy,I didn't get that phone call,and Sas/Flemming let
me know when the party is.....

I'm lonely, feeling lonely...in the lounge today...tra lala.
Hey everyone! Hope you had as good a weekend as I had. Went
clubbing with some friends Sat night at Club Mantra where a
DJ from Paris played an awesome funky house set! We didn't
leave the dancefloor for one second and when we finally
left the club at 6 am we could barely walk. Mantra was
packed with clubbers and it was the best night out I've had
since I came home!! By the way it's so surreal to walk out
of a club in the morning - and it's daylight!
~
so yesterday just heaps of chilling out to videos and
pizzas..
Debs - I suddenly realized where that song is from, haha!!
Id' forgotten about that one. Btw have you developed your
silly walk :)
Ads - don't worry, we'll let ya know when and where when
it's organized!
*
See you sexy people later, love - DJ Flem'
PS. Basement Jaxx are on the decks today to celebrate the
release of their amazing new funky house cd!
Glad to see your having a good time back at home.
Now you can answer a question for Andrew and me, what does
BTW stand for? I see it all the time and I thought
everyone else knew what it meant except me. I asked Andrew
and he didn't know either so that made me feel better.
Flem try this site. www.pythonline.com and follow the
links. There's everything you wanted to know about Monty
Python and even stuff you didn't.
Beth- Did you get all those things Ads wished for you for
your birthday? Hope you had a happy one.
Welcome back to Dughall. Long time no post. Crispy Hi,
sorry I cant help but someone else probably will.
Lucious Lucy I loved your song Darl. Thanks for the vote in
the TTYC beauty pagent. Although, as I said, if you were
entered I'm sure I'd be no competition, especially with
your beautiful singing voice. ÷┐÷ hehe
Off to Frenzal Rhomb on Thursday so if I dont post for a
while after that it'll be because I cant hear anything, or
I'm too battered, shattered and bruised from the mosh pit
to type.
Anyway not much is happening around here except counting
down to my trip. Andrew volunteered to show us a good time
down on the coast while we are in WA. I hope I catch as big
a whale as you did Flem, but , I really don't want to even
see a snake!!!!! brrrr yucky.
Seeya later
Debs
I'm soooooo tired! I really don't know what the hell is
wrong with me, I just want to stay in bed all day and sleep.
I didn't have a big weekend or anything either. Hmmm. I was
supposed to meet a friend at 9pm on Saturday night at a pub
but after an hour she hadn't turned up. So I called her
house and her dad told me she had gone to the movies! I was
so pissed off! If she didn't want to meet me she could have
told me before I changed my plans and spent $12 on a taxi
just to meet up with her. How rude!
Debs- Good luck at the concert babe. I hope you don't come
out of it with too many bruises. Just keep your elbows up...
getting a knock in the chest isn't fun. I'm glad you liked
my song although I'm sure if you actually heard me
singing... :-)
Flemming- Glad to hear that you had such a good weekend!
Beth- I'm guessing the reason why we haven't heard from you
in awhile is because you are recovering from your birthday
celebrations. Do tell!
*******
And another song...
I heard you crying loud all the way across town
You've been searching for that someone
and it's me out on the prowl
As you sit around feeling sorry for yourself
Don't get lonely now
Dry your whining eyes
I'm just roaming for the moment
Sleazin' my backyard so don't get so uptight
you been thinking about ditching me
No time to search the world around
Cause you know where I'll be found
When I come around
.
What were you trying to experiment?
Anyway, that Tarra person was a bit of a bitch. Some people
are so touchy!!!
was to see if I could unlock this site. On the outside the
no. of posts was showing 117 but on the inside it was only
114. And I couldn't read anything after Flemming.
Lucy I love Greenday. Keep on singing babe.
"Hey Mr. where you headed Are you in a hurry?
Last chance for happy hour said Oh no."
Take it away Loos.
.
I Don't think Tara will be giving us a hard time anymore. I
think I fixed her.
Anyway I've been on here all day so I suppose I should get
off now.
bye

anyways, i'm starting my official countdown!
*
18 days!
*
p.s ad's- ye shall be informed!
So I get home from work and the light on the answerphones
blinking and lo and behold its STA travel. The flights been
changed. Does anyone know what Darwins like at 5:30am. Its
true I tell you.
Anyway, hope everyones okay and groovy. I see the
counting down has begun to the transglobal trip sas. Youll
like it here I think. Except for the weather. But its good
at the moment. Oh yeah, Bristols a bit dodgy so make sure
you watch yourself whilst seeking out the WILD BUNCH
original chief rappers. Word is they are rebuilding their
relationships after the intense touring. Oh yeah and 3d
says smoking so much gear is making him paranoid. Jesus I
ramble.
Lucy- sounds like you had a good un. I just went down
the pub but had a fookin good laugh because the barmaid is
a close friend and had recently got a copy of the World
Encyclopaedia of Cocktails and was mixing em up. Harvey
Wallbanger is lush and I strongly recommend it. A screwball
too.
Beth-hope the B'day was cool and you got it all and so
much more.
Debs-thanks for the comment but I think Ill just put up
a post about the banks on the er.....mother branch.
Hi to Ads and everyone else who contribute to this
little sparkler.
Crispy
P.S. My email is above so if anyone wants to you can get in
touch. Thankyou and goodnight. Chris has left the building.
just returned from seeing The Matrix and it was fucking
awesome!!! Best sci-fi movie for a long time with some mind
blowing ideas! Has anyone else seen it? Loved all that
stuff about living inside a computer programme and being
able to upload stuff to the brain!
*
Going clubbing again tomorrow night, woohoo!!!
~
gotta go, see all you funky people tomorrow!!
*
BTW Debs and Andrew - BTW means ...by the way :)
Last night I sat bolt upright in bed and said By the way!!!
Got a very strange look fromthe old man. *lol*
You must have been sending me telepathic messages.
Cool.

Post # 125 is by me Debs. What a dick I am.
G-Day Guys
Sorry have not posted for a while been suffering the
dreaded FLUE, Still!! got the little wog but dont seem to
beable to throw it anyway, been filling meself up with
Pills And lemon juice and honey, Ehh!! so hope fully it
will be gone soon . Been dreaming of Warmer pasture's along
the Canning must be the drugs and Whiskey, "Great mix" does
wonders
thought I would just share this poem with you seen you all
been singing of late
Can you here when the northwinds are sweeping
with warm breath the far reaching plains -
A soft voice that sets your pulse leaping
and stirs the red blood in your viens,
'tis the voice of the northland speaking,
And it whispers from that distant afar-
If you romance and adventure be seeking
Come follow my bright beckoning star
Can you herewhere the waving grass dance
like strings of softly played lyres
A sweet music that some how enhances,
A vision of northern campfires
But perhaps it maybe perchances,
you`ve a restless spirit and bold
then you'll win in the northlands far glances
a wealth not counted in gold
So go while the soft voice is urging
like the call of a lost child
Go while the the hot blood is surging,
Through the viens tumultuous and wild
For in the soft night wind that is sighing
Through the moons mystical curtains of light,
Tis the voice of the north that is crying
In the breeze that whispers tonight.
Love to all
Going North
Andrew
so you're Flem#2 hehe!!! That's okay, you can admit it
babe ;-P Glad you received my attempts at uploading the
word BTW to ya brain! I learned the technique by watching
the Matrix!!
Andrew - sorry to hear you've been sick mate, hope you're
feeling better!
We have tomorrow off, woohoo!!, it's a national holiday
here!!! So we are going to a huge house/techno party at
club Vega tonight, tell ya all the goss tomorrow...bye!
Now there's something we could all do with a bit more often.
I'm knackered. I need a long rest somewhere slow and easy.
Any suggestions?
-
Belated happy Birthday Beth.
-
Any luck with the Bike search Damo? I like the Bandit, but
I'm a bit of a retro fan and dont much like all the plastics
on the race-reps. The Zephyr's kinda nice too. I love
Kwackers. I have a 1978 Z650 which rumbles along like a
dream.
-
Count me in for the London bash.
-
Jake
it seems like ages since I last posted. Thanks for all the
birthday wishes - I had a great day and night (I think!!!!)
An old friend from England was in Melbourne so he came too
and all of my new found friends. I drank far too much and
danced far too much - my little toes are just recovering:)
Four of us were supposed to be leaving at 9am on the Sat to
travel along part of the Gt Ocean Rd for the weekend, I got
to bed at 6ish and was up at 9, 2 of the other people didn't
manage to get out of bed for most of the day so me and this
guy (the only other one who survived) decided to go and
watch the last quarter of the footie at the MCG then we had
a quite night in watching lots of stupid films.
Ads - I got most of it and a few variations.
Lucy - If I could remember anything I would tell you -
honest honey.
Flem - went to see the Matrix on Wednesday eve - totally
awesome - Im not a big fan of sci-fi but really enjoyed it.
Andrew - hope you are better now - did you get my mail??
Sas - hows the packing going???? Write soon.
Jake - are you the one from Ireland who tried to get us all
to help paint your house by bribing us with Guiness??? If so
I hope the house is going okay.
Jas - I am no longer talking to you - where are you??????
As for everyone else - hi!
Sorry if none of this makes sense I have just come from a 2
hour interview and my brain is frazzelled :)
Love to you all
Beth
-x-
There's a shaggin' echo in here it's that quiet! Have you
forgot to pay for your internet access? I know it's a
holiday in Denmark so that's Mr. Flemington covered, but
where are all the aussies?
-
Beth, sounds like you had a howler of a birthday, more power
to ya. Yep, it was me who shamelessly tried the well known
Guinness bribe. I even figured I might get some to fall for
it as half the regulars here are total pissheads (and I mean
that in the nicest way!!!!!). But no joy. Had to paint the
place all on me own. Anyway, it's done now, and it leaves me
free to enjoy our lovely Irish summer! I believe it's
scheduled for a Wednesday this year. Better take the day off
work and fire up the barbie.
-
Andrew, thanks for the mail. I'll keep in touch. What a life
you have mate, your a lucky b*tard!
-
Mind the tubes!
-
Jake
seems like it's just the three of us in the lounge today!
Things have been very quiet for a while haven't they?
-
Had the best night at club Vega, it was a real old
fashioned RAVE with hard pumping techno, girls and boys
with fluorescent makeup on and everyone going nuts on the
dancefloor!! Woohoo, wwwwwwwhat a night!! For some reason
heaps of girls talked English to me - even though they were
Danes?! Well I thought it was hellfun and just played along
hehe, and talked English all night.
*
Beth - you go girl! Sounds like you had a bit of a party on
your birthday!!!! Wish I could have been there ;)
~
Jake, I had completely forgotten that house-painting story,
hehe. I'm not really a guinness man, that's why I didn't
show up hehe!
~
Have the most funky weekend everyone - and get posting!
love, DJ Flem'
Yes thats right I thought I had found a cure for the flue!!!
It went somthing like this: Take one 750ml bottle of
whiskey to bed with you,( GLENFIDDICH ) along with your
best Akubra hat. Lie down on bed and put hat on foot, Then
open bottle of whiskey and proceed to drink ( in my case
around 1/2 of a bottle) until you see two Akubra hats one
on each foot and the The room spins etc... Sounds great,
Felt great Ehh, until next morning when your head hurts
more than when you lay down in the first place the night
before. Boy my head hurts!!!!
Ehh Jake it is a good life and yes I am a lucky B*stard but
it is not all fun , a lot of work goes on behind the scenes
Ehh . I have missed placed your email address you will have
to send me it again mate !! I will note it down this time.
Glad to here the house is all painted sorry could not have
got there , I think we would have had a ball.
Flemming sounds as if you are getting in some practice for
London Ehh!!
The Canning Stock Route is looking real interesting Eh ,
because of the Two Cyclones we have had and yes it is
raining again in Exmouth Ehh. So could be another wet Trip
even though I am heading into the desert, they say that at
Savoury Creek there is over 5 feet of fast flowing water at
present!! " interesting". Okay a big hello to all and have
a good one Ehh .
Andrew
Andrew I thought I told you to take echinacea and garlic.
Oh well your way sounded like a lot more fun. I did the
same thing on a trip between Adelaide and Alice on a buw
with no air conditioning in a 45 deg heat wave years ago.
Somehow in the middle of this heat wave Deb picks up a flu
and a really high fever and decides that drinking a bottle
of Southern Comfort straight would be the most acceptable
cure. Well after many halucinations and sweats and chills I
arrive in Alice still with the flu and a raging hangover to
go with it. So I can completely sympathise with you mate.
Where is everyone anyway. It's awfully quiet in here lately.
Debs
I am just really shattered. However I felt the echo so : thought Id drop a line to say hi to all and im in (if its okay) for the London bash. It WILL be interesting to see if any of the flamers from J.A.L.H. #1 turn up. I think not.
A friend in Houston has just emailed me to say that there is thunder and lightning there at the moment. The nasa centre space tour was cancelled. Houston has a problem. Excuse the obvious pun.
Take it well easy everyone and think of me coz Im sweating like a pig.
Laters
Chris
Boo hoo!!! I have a nasty cold and I feel miserable. I'm off
to bed soon with a cup of Milo and some Vegemite on toast,
not that I can actually taste anything.
I had a pretty good weekend. Some friends came over to my
place on Friday night and we drank Quick Fuck's all night.
They were bloody yummy. The guy who I've told you all about
before has been a pig to me over the last few days. I saw
him last Thursday and it was like I didn't exist. Friday
night I asked him what his problem was and why he was being
so weird and he said it was me who had the problem. Bullshit
baby! Anyway, Saturday he was pretty much back to normal
again but by Sunday night he was Mr Asshole once more. I
just don't understand. I think he thinks that I want him so
he's giving me the old cold shoulder routine. Well he should
wake up from the dream he's in and get over himself. And
that's all I have to say about that.
How was everyone else's weekend? Beth, it sounds like your
birthday was a ripper. How old are you anyway? :-)
Andrew- My neighbours did the Canning Stock Route a few
years ago and I sat through the 4 videos they made of it. It
looked pretty interesting. Maybe I'll go someday when I'm
rich!
Hello to everyone else, Flemming, Crispy, Debs ( I see
someone voted you as a nice poster over on YC, woohoo!) and
Jake.
Did you catch your cold from Andrew?
That guy sounds like a complete arsehole!
Nicest poster huh? I'll have to go and check it out.
I'm getting bored to death with all their carry on in the
YC.
Survived the Frenzal gig. Had a pretty good time actually.
Didn't bother with the pit. Watched from the bar instead.
Uni bar prices $3/bourbon. Yummy.
Sorry this is in point form. I just poped in/on for a mo.
It's pretty quiet around here at the moment isn't it?
There's not even anyone on ICQ.
Seeyall later.
Debs.
YOU GUY ARE A BUNCH OF FUCKING TOSSERS. GET A LIFE MORONS.
Well, I dont want to sound pessimistic but I guess it had
to happen sometime. Still, paul only amuses everyone with
his bad spelling and punctuation which serve to highlight
the stupidity with which he is obviously blessed. I would
hate to wake up in the mornings with such a chip on my
shoulder. Still, I dont like waking up in the mornings the
way I did yesterday. I havnt drunk that much since my
brothers stag do last year. Another one in 6 weeks too.
Lucy-I hope you get over the runny nose, muggy head,
cramps etc soon. Oh yeah and us guys aint all that bad,
really.
JOKE OF THE DAY-The one good thing about Alzheimers is
you get to meet new people everyday.
I can pick up Triple J on the internet. Is that a big
radio station in OZ?
Its very echoey in here at the moment. Its very echoey
in here at the moment.
Crispy. Crispy.

- now who remembers that song?
Hi everyone. Hi everyone. Hey hey, you're right-ight
Crispy. There's a bit of an echo here-ere-ere. I'll have-
ave to do-o something right-ight now...SWOOOM...there ya go
the decks are spinning again, let's party & fucking have it!
Had a cool weekend, went to a friend's birthday party which
ended at club Vega. That's 3 nights out clubbing in 7 days,
I'm getting back on track haha!!!
~
Lalala, the sun is shining today in Copenhagen and it's 16c
degrees, woohooo...summer must be on it's way...well it
better be, it's been so bloody cold here!
~
I've heard from Marty and she's in England at the moment.
Unfortunately she's had her backpack, passport, ticket and
everything stolen! Hopefully she can still make it to the
London thingy...if it happens...hey here's an idea - why
don't we all meet on the 28th of August in London and go to
the Creamfields festival together?? Paul Oakenfold, Carl
Cox and heaps of others are playing...
~
Lucy, I can't believe that guy he sounds like such an
idiot!! Tell him to go play on the highway!
Debs, you're right about TTYC. Most people there wouldn't
qualify for Kindergarten, I cannot believe what's going on
in there at the moment. They need a bit of the Spanish
Inquisition me thinks!
Crispy, yep Triple J is pretty big and pretty good - even
though there's a bit too much of that "surfer's punk rock"
like Jebediah and Grimspoon (spelling?) on for my taste.
~
see ya tomorrow crew, love and funky stuff - Flem'
Gotta love em.
The Inquisition would that be The Spanish Inquisition?
*lol* I think it is urgently required.I think Paul is an
infiltrator from TTYC. This is our chat thread in our own
little lounge. We aint bothering no-one so piss off out of
here if ya dont like it whydontcha?
How was that Guys? Hey I can be really tough if I want to
be although as Andrew well knows I'm too scared to use the
phone sometimes. *lol*
Listen i thought of a new game.
Here it is *NAME THAT TUNE* type some lyrics to a song and
the first person to either name the tune or complete the
lyrics gets to post a new tune. What do you reckon? Lucy
inspired me with her singing.
OK I'll start with an easy one.
I will come to you at night time
I will wake you from your sleep
I'll kiss you in four places
I'll touch your head and touch your feet
I'll sqeeze the life out of you
You will make me laugh and make me cry
and we will never forget it
you will make me call your name and I'll shout
it to the blue summer sky........... (God I love that song)
I'd throw my arms around you anytime baby!
Lets do it.....as long as it doesn't rain....
thanks its your turn mate.
Im off down the pub for a cool glass of beer. Ill raise a
jar for the tt girls & boys.
Cheers.
Crispy
when I was very young
nothing really mattered to me
than keeping myself happy
I was the only one
now everything's changed
I'll never be the same
because of you....

-
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.
2. Learn to work the toilet seat; if it's up put it down.
3. Don't cut your hair. Ever.
4. Sometimes, we're not thinking about you. Live with it.
5. Get rid of your cat.
6. Sunday = Sports.
7. Anything you wear is fine. Really.
8. Women wearing Wonder bras and low-cut blouses lose their

9. You have too many shoes.
10. Crying is blackmail.

I know this is off the topic but I coul'nt quite place
Flem's tune, though it sounded a bit lit Morrisey. Thought I
better write something!

Jake
Okay guys and gals, I need your help. I have been invited
to a friends birthday next weekend and the theme is
Millennium (God how do you spell that?!)/Space. I am
hopeless at this sort of thing so I need your advice, so
far the suggestions have been the Euro, Y2K bug, Space Vixen
(blokes suggestion obviously) the girl off Buck Rogers and
the 21st Century (what was her name - Thelma or
something???) - and Sale of the Century (don't quite know
how that would look???). As I only have a few days I need
your advice desperately - cheers.
Jake - no comment to your post!!
Debs/Lucy - I am hopeless at this sort of thing - you will
have to post the answers soon otherwise I wil spend the rest
of my time in Australia in record shops trying to figure the
songs out!
Lucy - just turned 26 - please don't laugh I am feeling
fragile enough about the age thing - as my dearest daddy
pointed out I am now nearer 30 than 20 and will be classed
as a late 20s person! Yuck!
Jase honey - thanks for the mail - I will write soon
promise.
Sas - where are you?
Crispy - hows the head - have you had any more Mule
recently? My head is abit tender at the moment - these pots
are really deceiving, they are so small you drink them far
too quickly and end up with a bad hangover!
Anyhow, get those thinking caps on guys.
Take care
Love
Beth
-x-
Are you the same Jake from the TTYC. I don't know why I
bother to ask 'cause if you are you probably won't tell me
anyway. The thing is I would like to know what Jake/you did
to atract all this flaming and impostering? It seems that
the real Jake has been lost in all this carry on and I'm
wondering if he could even come back if he wanted to.
Flem- I'll be stuffed if I know that song. Maybe Lucy might
be able to get it. I have some Smiths in the old vinyl
cattalogue. I may have to get it out for a listen. Any
excuse.
There`s a man I meet
Walks up our street
He`s a worker for the council
Has been twenty years
And he takes no lip off nobody
And litter off the gutter
Puts it in a bag
And never thinks to mutter
And he packs his lunch in a Sunblest bag
The children call him Bogie
He never lets on
But I know `cause he once told me
He let me know a secret
About the money in his kitty
He`s gonna buy a dinghy
Toodle
mine was Madonna's "Nothing Really Matters" but I'm lost
when it comes to Ad's song!!!
Beth - Princess Leia perhaps ;-P hehe! or Ripley! or that
girl Trinity in The Matrix, yummy!!!!
The heads fine thanx Debs.
No more mule for a long time. I looked like a bloody
mule as well when I woke up. Ha! And its almost the weekend
and itll start all over again. I bumped into a friend who I
havnt seen in a long time so we are off to paint the town a
darker shade of pink on Saturday.

...nope, I'm not the one from the TTYC. I've been posting
here on the old JALH thread for several months now, if you
read back a bit on the old thread you'll see my scripts.
I've read some of the other guys comments on the other
thread and from what I see he deserves what he gets. His
spelling is pure shite too. Pity he has'nt got a differant
name though! I dont post on that thread cos I'd take a lot
of flak that was meant for him!
-
Beth, I'm with Flem, go as Princess Leia. With Star Wars a
hot topic at the moment you'll be a big hit. All you need is
a white dress and get your hair done in two big loops, one
to each side! A cheapo flashlight with some greaseproof
paper taped to it and you'd be the dog's bo**ox! Go for it.
-
Good news, good news. I got a new job. No more shift work
ever again. Back to working normal humane hours. Time to get
reaquainted with the mates down the local.
-
Flem, how is Marty doing? Hope she's getting over being
ripped off. Tell her we were asking for her. Hope we all
make it to London.
-
The house is done and I'm having a monster
bash/bbq/pissup/trip/session-type-thingy in a few weeks.
You're all invited to the emerald Isle for the event. Maybe
I should arrange it to happen around the same time as the
London do? Flem, you'll have to try the real Guinness
though. The piss they serve abroad is a poor imitation!
-
Mind the tubes,
Jake (the real one).
Ad's I would hazard to say that it was an English punky
type band along the lines of Buzcocks.
Jake I knew we had a Jake posting here form Ireland but I
wasn't sure if you were the same one. sorry about that. )
Beth- I definately vote for Princess Leia.
Ad's I've changed my mind. Sunblest is a bread they sell
here in Oz so maybe its Australian. hmmmm a hard one.
Hey Where is Sas and Andrew? Hope he got over that flu.
sas would have known your song Flem. You dancing fool you.
*lol*
seeya later
someone guess that song.
Hey all!
I hope some of you remember me; I started to post just
before you moved to the new site. By the way I noticed a
new post on the old JALH. It was Marty. One of you should
let her know where you are. I would hate for her to think
she was abandoned!
Lucy~ I hope I don't sound naive, but what is a Quick Fuck?
(just read your post 136). I am so happy that cocktails are
cool again.
We are just heading into a long weekend here in Canada.
Yah!! I'm going camping at the most beautiful place with
the most horrid name-- Crotch Lake!
Have a good one everyone. By the way, the name Cloe has
nothing to do with this post, but I just always wanted to
name something that.
I haven't got a clue what that song is! I guessed Flem's
Madonna song but I was too slow in buzzing in my answer.
I went to the Casino last night after work with 2 friends
just to have a Laksa at the City Noodle Bar. Well, I was
trying my hardest to convince them that we should go to the
real bar but knowing how guys love eating so much, my
efforts were in vein. My Laksa was so hot that I had a head
spin for the next hour! Who knew?
_
Debs- Isn't it shit what's going on over at YC? I use to
like to read the posts over there but now they are all about
the same thing... pure shit.
_
Jake- I was wondering if you were the same Jake as the one
on YC. I figured that you weren't because that guy seems
like a real dickhead, not like out Jake, hey guys?
Congratulations on your new job too! And I hope the party is
a success.
_
Beth- How are you babe? Have you decided what you are going
to wear yet? Hey, 26 isn't old! I reckon it's the perfect
age (I can't believe I just said "reckon"). I think I'm the
youngest one here actually. How old is everyone else?
_
Andy Pandy- Where have you got to?
_
Pobbit- I remember you! Good to see you again although you
might have to refresh our minds with a few details about
yourself. In regards to your question, a Quick Fuck is a
shot, Kahlua on the bottom, Midori in the middle then
Bailey's floating on the top. Yuuuuuuuuum.
_
And now for my song:
Early in the morning, risin' to the street
Light me up that cigarette and I strap shoes on my feet
Got to find a reason, a reason things went wrong
Got to find a reason why my money's all gone
I got a dalmation, and I can still get high
I can play the guitar like a mother fucking riot
Life is (too short), so love the one you got
Cause you might get runover or you might get shot
Never start no static
I just get it off my chest
Never had to battle with no bulletproof vest
Take a small example, take a tip from me
Take all of your money, give it all to charity
Love is what I got
It's within my reach
And the Sublime style's still straight from Long Beach
It all comes back to you, you'll finally get what you
deserve
Try and test that you're bound to get served
Love's what I got
Don't start a riot
You'll feel it when the dance gets hot
*******
_
And another easier one:
I'm packed and I'm holding
I'm smiling, she's living, she's golden
and she lives for me
she says she lives for me
ovation
she's got her own motivation
she comes round and she goes down on me
and I make her smile
It's like a drug for you
do ever what you want to do
coming over you
keep on smiling, what we go through
once stop to the rhythm that divides you
and I speak to you like the chorus to the verse
chop another line like coda with a curse
and I come on like a freak show takes the stage
we give them the games we play, she said
..happened to some of the old timers from the old thread?
Where have Scoobs, Mr.R, Sara, Pabs, and of course Hayley
got to? Flem; do you have any info on them?
-
Pobbit, good catch on seeing Marty over at the old thread. I
sent her a quick mail. What part of Canada are you in? I
used to camp up at Crystal lake near Fenelon Falls, do you
know it? I'm assuming your from Ontario, but I could be
miles off. I lived over there for a few years. Travelled
quite a bit there too. Sorry for forgetting your details if
you have already posted all this info before.
-
Lucy, I used to like some of the stuff over on YC, though I
never did post there. But lately it's both ends of a bollox.
I'm hurt to think you even considered that fecking eejit was
me (I'm not really, but I'm looking for the sympathy vote
from the crowd!). Anyway, thanks for the congrats and good
wishes. Have a hug.
-
Increase the peace.

J.
Morning all,
You've moved to JALH#2...great idea....doesn't take so long
to load.
Made it to Dublin..........got a new job with net access to
keep me sane.
Missing Oz already.
Bored again ..... Hot Irish summers do not exist.
Looking forward to the Sydney summer again.
Take Care
O :-)
I was wondering when or if we'd hear from you again. G'day
from Oz. It's an absolutely glorious autumn day here today.
T-shirt weather for sure. (I said that just to make you
jealous) You and Jake should get together for that barby in
summer. *lol*
Seriously I'd love to come to Ireland. It's top of my list
for places I want to go overseas next.
First I have to get this Oz trip out of the way.
Lucy you stumped me babe. I'll have to ask Kirsty to have a
look. I thought I was cool but I'm obviously not. hehe.
The first song's title is in the last 4 lines and the second
song is by Tonic.
What's everyone up to this weekend? I had a night at home
last night and ate Chinese take-away and watched Halloween
H20. I have to say that it is one of the worst movies I've
seen. There's this funny bit where someone is killed by an
iceskate to the head. I'm not some kind of sicko that likes
that kind of thing but it just looked so stupid sticking out
of the guy's head!
Tonight I'm planning on doing nothing again since I have no
money whatsoever. I hate being poor!
_
Nice to hear from you again Onai!
If you go to the TTYC you'll see that most people are
posting with numbers ie. the number you are up to in the
thread. It's to try and stamp out imposters. I have done it
a couple of times although as you noticed in the ZOg post
I'll use my own name when I feel like it.
okay, so I know you have probably already seen Something
About Mary, but I saw it for the first time on Friday eve -
can't believe I didn't see it sooner, parts of it were
boring but there were some scenes that are still making me
giggle.
Lucy honey, thanks for making me feel better about the age
thing! However I now have another issue with my age - there
were four of us at college who became bestest of friends
(shit that was 10 years ago!!!) anyhow, two of them got
engaged last year and then the worst thing happened, Sally
called me Friday morning just as I was rushing off to work
to ask me if I would be her bridesmaid, I said yes without
thinking then suddenly realised that left just little old me
without a fiance or boyfriend for that matter - how
depressing!! Well not really cos I'm not into the marriage
lark but I am bridesmaid to all of them - whats the saying
"3 times a bridesmaid never a bride"?? I am doomed -
I've already been a bridesmaid twice!!!!!! I suppose one
good thing is that Sally is getting married next March in
Florida, so I will be able to go there from here - hopefully
with a good tan :)
Jake/Onai - how is Ireland? I was supposed to visit an old
Uni friend who lives in County Cork before I came over here
- I will have to go when I get back next year - is that
anywhere near you guys?
I don't want to admit this cos I can't stand the team, but I
am going to see Man U play at the MCG - anyone else going???
I think Princess Leia is a great idea - just worried that
quite a few others will go as her - girls will agree with me
here, there is nothing worse than walking into a party/club
etc and seeing another girl in the same outfit!!!! Anyhow,
I will let you all know how it turns out!
Love
Beth
-x-
But no mule this time youll be pleased to know Beth. Just
er, red wine and a couple of bottles of Snecklifter, the
greatest beer on the planet. It constipates you though.
Does anyone know what those things are called that you put
up your bum to relieve it?
Just bought the Beatles Revolver and well, I think the
Beatles are the most overestimated band of al time.
Beth- Fret not about the bridesmaid thing. I have 3 bros
and one sis. Sis and 1 Bro are married. The seconds getting
hitched 2 days before Im off rounf the world. There is
someone out there for ya babe.
Lucy-need more info in this band called Tonic because
Ive got mates in a band of the same name. Sorry to hear
about the cashflow situation.
Im off but hi to Onai. Have a Murphys on me.
Crispy
I need a big hug.
I'm copping heaps of shit over on the YC.
here's a massive *HUG* from me. I can't believe YC at the
moment, I've given up on it, it used to be fun but not any
more. Now it's just a huge shouting and flaming contest.
Don't worry sweetie, you can always come in our lounge here
and meet your friends, we're here!!
~
I've got a story about Friday night out, probably my worst
ever...here goes it's long so forgive me if you don't find
it funny:
Friday night started out great, I hung out with a few
friends and we did the usual routine of drinking, playing
loud music and call everybody else to see who was up for
going out. Around midnight weÆd found no one else but the 3
of us who wanted to go out so we took off for a
house&techno party at a club weÆd never heard of û but the
flyer looked cool. We take a few beers for the road and
walk all the way. WeÆre still having heaps of fun until we
actually get there and discover itÆs a small party with no
people in a basement at one of our Unis. There were 10 guys
there and no girls. These 10 guys just stood in the bar
nodding their head to the music and drinking. No one was on
the dancefloor. The ironic thing was the DJÆs, the sound
system and the light show was fucking great! Deep techno
and house and it was cool. But no atmosphere no people no
nothing. We had some beers and then we thought ôitÆs now or
neverö and the 3 of us started dancing and dancing and
really putting on a show. We danced for, I dunno, 45 mins
and no one followed our example, people just looked at us
like we were 3 weird gay guys, so we decided to get out of
that dead place. Mission failure.
*
So off to club Mantra we go, with a stupid taxi driver who
we almost get in a fight with, and when we get there we
find out that û CopenhagenÆs no. 1 house club as they
proudly call themselves are having an R&B night. Faark!
Mission Failure.
*
Now my friend Jesper is so depressed he just wants to go
home, so a new and even more stupid taxi driver (who we
argue with cos he makes several wrong turns) takes us to
JesperÆs place again. My friend Ali and I don't really feel
like going home yet so we walk quite a bit to another club
where they usually have techno/house music...we get there
and they have an...80Æs pop night! Woohoo! Mission failure.
*
Now we have collectively walked a marathon and weÆre more
depressed than ever. So we sit and wait at a busstop for 40
mins, talking and fucking annoyed with Copenhagen...then I
had to take a piss and walked behind some trees...and
sprained my ankle by tripping over a bicycle on the
ground!! Mission failure - and then we went home!!
~
Someone in a high place apparently didn't think we should
go out that night! Stupid clubs, stupid taxi drivers,
stupid Copenhagen and stupid bike behind tree! God we were
so depressed...but the whole thing is sort of funny now.
*
Just talked to sas, she's so excited cos she's leaving in 6
days and getting everything ready at the mo. Cannot wait to
see you in London babe!!!!!!!!!!!!
*
gotta run people, see ya!
love, Flem'xxx
Morning All,
Thanks for the friendly welcome again.
Been in work for only a couple of hours so far this week
and I'm already dreaming of Friday.
Debs, U don't have to try to make me jealous. I'm already
thinking of bringing forward my return ticket and hitting
Sydney pretty soon. Spent Saturday in Co. Wicklow...pretty
close to Dublin...beautiful scenery and waterfalls but
typical sun, cloud, overcast, drizzle Irish weather. This
country is beautiful if it was indoors.
Lucy, I know exactl;y what its like to be poor. At least
with money in your pocket U can party hard and ease the
boredom.
Beth, Don't fret ,you'll find a soul-mate. BTW Cork is on
the south coast of Ireland and Dublion is on the east
coast. But they're pretty close of U think in Aussie
distances....maybe a few hours drive.
Crispy, I'll gladly have a drink on U but Guinness not
Murphys is more my style.....off to Temple Bar this
evening...Yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhh..!
Take care guys....Big hello to everyone else.
Bye for now ... back to work....:-(
Onai ;-)
Crispy
Dunno how Crispy's name ended up on the end of my last post
there..!!!
I'm so pissed off I can't even spell Monday...!
Thank you for the hug and for posting on the YC to remind
me where my real friends are.
The thing is I'm getting the blame for all this crap and it
was just a little toungue in cheek post of the variety we
have here that started everything.
They take themselves way too seriously.
Oh well they can have their fucking stupid site.
This is much more pleasant.
about your weekend I think you should have stayed home.
*lol*
BTW Flem is that you posting visa info requests outside.
When do you plan to come back?
Onai dont worry about the spelling mistakes, we all knew
what you meant. I suppose its the bad weather that makes
Ireland so beautiful.
Where is Andrew?
Does anyone else have icq?
my # is 34232205 if anyone wants a chat.
Okay thanks again Flem.
I feel much better now than I did when I got here.
Seeya love Debs
I've been reading all that shit over on TTYC for the past
few days and it gets worse every time. Debs, I saw your name
a few times and on Saturday I even put in a good word for
you but by Monday the post was gone. Don't let them get to
you! As Flemming already said, you are always welcome here
with us.
Flemming- Is isn't it always the way! Everything going wrong
in the one night, nothing turning out as you planned it.
I've had a few of those too. But at least you found the
humour in it and besides, it makes a good story. Hope your
foot is feeling better.
Crispy- I actually meant to say Third Eye Blind instead of
Tonic (oops) about that song I posted. Anyway, Tonic had a
few songs last year or maybe the year before I think but I
don't think they've done much since. My friend has there CD
but I've never heard the whole thing.
****
I've had really bad sinus for the last few days so I've been
miserable. It feels like someone is sticking pins around my
eyes. :-(
I've got to go to the library at Uni today and I have the
feeling I'll be there for at least 3 hours or more. What a
life I lead!
Hey to Beth and Onai and Pobbit.
PS Debs I have ICQ to. I'll put your number in. :-)
I entered your number on ICQ and I'm waiting for autho.
Tigger is it? Just a little warning, my brother shares the
computer with me and is online a lot more than me so if you
get him just ignore him. He has a habit of being a bit of a
dickhead as Ad's can testify too. By the way, if you ask for
me, don't let him know about this place. I don't want him
reading this stuff. Thanks mate.
Debs, yes that's me posting about visa info. I'm almost
done with the fucking application (god it's a lot of work)
and it's time for sending it in. But it takes the
Immigration office about 12 months to process it, so I've
no idea when anything will happen! That's a bit frustrating.
Glad you're feeling better, I can't believe how everyone
jumped on you yesterday. Some TTYC'ers do think they are oh
so serious - and it's disgusting really.
Lucy, thanks - the foot is better! We really should have
stayed home that night!! Hope your eyes are better too!
Mornin Guys,
Met a friend from Sydney in Dublin last night. Well she's a
Dub but we worked together in Sydney. Anyway the point is I
drank way too much Guinness and am dying at my desk here
now. I'm back to my bad habits. At least at my desk in Oz I
had Sydney harbour and sunshine to ease the depression a
hangover brings....God my head hurts...!
I just need someone to hold me and tell me its gonna be
alright...(Jesus, I should write songs).
Anyway, Hi to Debs, Lucy, Flem (its worth the wait for an
Aussie visa, mate...mine took 8 months).
I'm sure I'll feel better soon.
3 more days to Freeday...!!!
O ;-/
Did any of you guys know each other before JALH#1?
did you apply in the independent skills visa class?????
Craigles, nope, JALH#1 brought us all together!
I have a job at last which is kind of cool and kind of
uncool. Its for 2 months so I should get some much needed
dollars into my bank account - the only problem is I have
internet access but I back onto everyone else so I can't do
anything unwork related - boo hoo! Its like it is teasing
me or something.
Flem - oh dear is all I can say. As Lucy said it does
happen to all of us, I usually find the nights when you
don't plan anything or are not really up for anything turn
out to be the best. Glad to hear your foot is better
though - I know its abit late but I will still send you a
hug :)
Lucy - don't you go studying too hard - and what is this
ICQ thing you all go on about?
Debs - I used to post on YC but couldn't be doing with it -
anyhow, as it has been said before just remember we are a
nice bunch in here so we will look after you.
Where are Andrew, Sas, Jase and the others? Hi to you all
wherever you are.
This working lark is taking it out of me so I am going to
get an earlyish night - before I say goodbye though, have
any of you lot been to the Terminus in Richmond, Vic? On a
Wednesday eve they have this funny bingo night (it sounds
sad but it is really quite good!) anyhow I am going to try
my luck again tomorrow so I think Thursday will be my first
day at this job with a hangover - lets see how impressed
they are with me then ;)
TTFN
Love
Beth
-x-
Guys,
My headache's gone & I almost feel human again. Boredom
brought me back to JALH for the second time today.
I think I'm becoming a net junkie...!
Flem,
I applied for independent permanent residency from Ireland
in early 1996. It works on a points system with points. I
got my visa later that year (about October) and went down
under in Jan 1997. I can come & go as I please
now......thank God. I'm going back after the summer
here...maybe September and already can't wait. Think I can
apply for citizenship as I've lived in Oz for more than 2
years.
Beth,
Congrats on the new job. I'm in a similar situation where
everyone can see what I'm up to at my PC. I wish I had an
office all to myself.
Craigles,
How are U mate?
Gotta go and look busy
TTFN
O ;-)
I've lost it......."a points system with points"......
Hah Ha Ha............!!!!
I meant a points system with points for education, age,
speaking English and being handsome..!
Guess where I got maximum points..?
Onai, I know about the points system with points haha!! I
scored quite highly in the conehead category!! So Onai,
when you received your visa how long after did you have to
be in Oz? And how can you just come and go as you please?
That sounds great!
So you're signing my name at the end of your posts now. Now
everyone will suspect we are one in the same, although that
could never be as I wouldnt touch Guinness. I thought it
was quite rare in Ireland. Ah Well.
Beth- I was glad to hear about the new job and Ive got
just the thing for you. There are these filters which you
can get which reduce the glare from screens and the great
thing about them is that the monitor cannot be read until
you look at it straight on. Like Lcd screens or something.
Give it a go. So in theory, your bonce will be in the way
and you can net away the day in perfect pancake happiness.
Or throw a black cloth over you and the computer and say
you prefer the "working at night" effect.
Lucy- This Tonic/ Third Eye Blind thing is doing my nut
because it sounds exactly like my mates over here. Could
you name just a couple of their songs or tell me where they
were born. Id really appreciate it.
Flem, youll look back on that night and laugh when
you're older.
I was very cultural last night and went to see "The
Merry Wives of Windsor" by William Shakepeare at the open
air theatre in Regents park. Had dinner at a belgian
restaurant which had a beer list of 100+. Anyway, will go
to bed now coz Im knacked. Hi to all Ive missed, lets all
agree to leave the TTYC well alone, now Ive dicovered what
exactly it is and how everyone is in a slanging match.

P.s. ICQ?
Hi All- I just spent a great weekend camping. There was 10
of us there-a few couples but mostly just a group of
friends. No rain, an island to ourselves, plenty to drink
and smoke--paradise! We had some pretty deep pow-wows
around the campfire; also some not so deep like the
inevitable Q --"what is the weirdest place you ever did it?"
Actually, one interesting thing we started to think about
was how each of us would score the movie of our life. My
music would be so varied!! Have any of you thought about
this before?
Anyway, it was back to teaching again today-Shakespeare!
Jake-- I hope you had a good experience when you were in
Canada. The place you mentioned didn't sound
familiar, although I am in Ont. Near Ottawa, actually.
HAVe a great "humpday" everyone!
Thanks anyway Pobbit................... I think?
Flem and Onai. *lol* Conehead and Handsome? hehe
Onai how many points did you get for spelling? Remember
Mundee, Nundee and Monday. Thanks for making me laugh so
hard.
Had an email from Andrew and he's been really busy getting
accreditation (which he got) and organising the Canning
trip but he said to say Hi to all.
ICQ means I seak you and its a system by which you are
alerted when your contacts are on line and they can chat
with you or message you wherever you are on the net. Its
cool although you sometimes get real dicks sending messages
that are a bit yucky. Thats Ok though cause you can just
move them to your ignore list and never be bothered by them
again.
Thanks for adding me to your list Lucy and Ad's.
Hey, guess what I'm talking to Lucy now.
I was supposed to be going to a 21st on Friday night (first
one for years) but the guy got elbowed in the face at
football on the week and has a broken jaw in 2 places,
shattered cheakbone and broken nose. He is completely
unrecognisable and has surgery today. So needless to say
the 21st has been postponed. In the meantime I have extra
people staying here who were going to the party so I think
we'll have a party anyway.
Well I'm off.
Seeya Love to all
Debs
Ps. Flemming you crack me up.
